The Allen Family has been serving the automotive market on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1971! Allen Automotive started with Mr. Bert Allen who first opened GMC and Pontiac dealerships in Gulfport, MS in 1971. He then acquired Mercedes Benz and Isuzu throughout the 70s. He and his son David Allen opened Bert Allen Toyota in 1987 with David Allen as General Manager. By 2001, David Allen had fully purchased the Toyota franchise and renamed it Allen Toyota. David Allen then acquired the Hyundai franchise in 2003. In 2007, the Allen family saw a shift of generations. Mr. Bert Allen retired from the business completely and David Allen’s son Scott Allen joined the management team at Allen Automotive. In 2017, Scott Allen purchased Allen Hyundai from the Estate of David Allen after bidding against multiple other regional dealers.
This is a family business. Scott and Andria Allen run the store together with Scott as the GM and Andria as the Controller. As we tested drove I had certain features I wanted and she had certain features she wanted. Carl pointed out that this car had all our needs and more. We talked with Carl about trading our Tucson in and getting approved. Tristan got involved and worked out the details and we went home with our car. Amazing Customer Service Technicians Twice this week I had to bring my car in for repair. To me the problems with my car were hard to deal with. But the wonderful guys at Allen Hyundai in Twice this week I had to bring my car in for repair. To me the problems with my car were hard to deal with. But the wonderful guys at Allen Hyundai in Gulfport Mississippi did an awesome job. They reset the computer so my check engine light went off after they check everything to make sure it was okay. And then they remove something from the undercarriage of my car that got there from driving through water. Both times I was expecting a rather large bill, but when I went to pick up my car was told that it was nothing major and thank you for bringing my car in for repair. The gentleman at the service counter explained everything that was done to my car and what service it needed upcoming. Thank you very much for everything that y'all did is very much appreciated. I will be seeing y'all in the future. More

Expectations Plus! I called on Thursday for a Friday appointment after 11 AM. Will found a slot that would work for me. I arrived on time; they were very busy. However, just as promised I was in and out in 30 minutes and they did a few extras other than just change the oil!! And it did not cost any more than at any of the "jiffy lubes" :) More
