Service Department is deplorable Purchased a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan in December 2015- I've gone to the dealership service center for two issues as well as oil changes as scheduled a Purchased a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan in December 2015- I've gone to the dealership service center for two issues as well as oil changes as scheduled and have not had a good experience any time I've been. Last night I had to bring my van that has only 31,000 miles on it because one of the brakes froze up (burnt up). I was at the dealer at 7:15 to make sure I explained what happened and went on to work. Called the service department at 10:45am and was told they had not looked at it yet but it should be soon. Went back to the dealership at 1:15 and after waiting around for 30 minutes was told they hadn't looked at it yet and would do everything in their power to have it looked at today. Everyone looks like they are miserable working at this place and it makes me miserable because I have to go there. I just don't understand how an issue this important did not take priority today. I have to make other arrangements to get to work tomorrow and hope the service personnel are able to tell me what is going on with the vehicle this evening or tomorrow. What makes this situation unbearable is that the department functions like this for years and no one seems interest in improvement. More
Won't warranty work performed NOR return phone calls Brought my 2008 Ram 1500 in for a rattle in my exhaust/catalytic converter. Had to pay diagnostic charge of $100. Was told they had to replace a bra Brought my 2008 Ram 1500 in for a rattle in my exhaust/catalytic converter. Had to pay diagnostic charge of $100. Was told they had to replace a bracket that was supposed to hold the exhaust. Total bill was $197. Two days later the exact rattle started again. I looked under the truck and all that I could see as being replaced was 2 nuts on a rusty u-bolt. I called twice and the service manager would never return my call nor would anyone I spoke to tell me what the warranty was on such work. Terrible. I'll never go there again and I will tell all of my friends and everyone I can. More
