VERY SMOOTH PURCHASE From the time I was in contact with Gus Berendson via the internet some weeks ago, to picking up my new Charger this past Monday, everything went very From the time I was in contact with Gus Berendson via the internet some weeks ago, to picking up my new Charger this past Monday, everything went very smooth. Everything was up front. The price quoted with incentives/rebates, was discussed and a purchase agreement was sent to me via email. I drove down from Memphis, arrived at 9:30A.M., and Gus met me, and the rest was all A+++. Signed all the papers, inspected the car, and Gus went over the car with me, answering questions as we went along understanding what this car can do. I was impressed. The only complaint that I do have is that the gas tank was only HALF FULL. I asked why the tank wasn't full on a new purchase, and I was told that the dealership only fills the tank to a certain amount. Kind of odd seeing that I just purchased a $40,000 + car. More

(just because it was closer to our house) and once I gave them the VIN number, they told me they were backed up in the service dept. to call back in 60 to 90 days. Very evident they didn't want to help out. Sad!! More

Friendly staff, communication could be improved Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. My car stayed there for a few days and I called several times to get an update on status of my car, Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. My car stayed there for a few days and I called several times to get an update on status of my car, i left a couple of messages and it took almost a day to hear back from Service dept. Payment options were not offered except to apply for a Mopar creditcard, and it's not easy to come up with $4000 deposit. It was a long day with two toddlers, i had just paid the rest of the bill, got in the car and remembered that I had a coupon discount so I went back inside and the lady said the ticket was closed and couldn't do anything to get me the discount, that's very discouraging, no flexibility at all, or at least, "let me talk to my manager to see if we can help you". I had gone to Ralph Sellers before and I wasn't happy with service and answers to my technical questions so I came to this place hoping experience would be different, and yes, answers to my technical questions were answered and I was satisfied, and staff treated me with respect when I asked my silly questions, but communication and lack of help to offer getting me the discount with coupon was disappointing, especially with the amount of the bill, a little help or at least a sign of good will would had gone a long way and this Service dept. would have a loyal customer forever. After being in the waiting room for over an hour I was told it was the battery. It would have to be delivered in about an hour. Ok. I left to get a bite of lunch. The vehicle was ready when I returned. As I drove away, I noticed the check engine light was still on. I turned around and brought the vehicle back to the service center. I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I would have to come back to see a specific technician and the earliest date he was available was 5 days away. I expressed concern about driving the vehicle with the check engine light on. I was told it would be ok unless it started blinking. I am on the interstate often and do not want to take the chance of being stranded. Also, for the size of Salsbury dealership, it seems there would be more than one technician who can address the variety of problems that might arise with vehicles. I was not happy with the results of my visit. The battery was changed, but obviously, the entire problem was not addressed. More
