The salesman that I dealt with, Lucien Blanchette, was not only courteous and polite, but straitforward and responsive, and worked hard to put me in t The salesman that I dealt with, Lucien Blanchette, was not only courteous and polite, but straitforward and responsive, and worked hard to put me in the vehicle I wanted at the best price possible. And I'm pretty sure that I got a pretty good deal on the vehicle I wanted, because I searched the inventories of and talked to Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealers throughout the state of Louisiana-- in Shreveport, Monroe Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans -- before I purchased the vehicle that I purchased. None of the salesmen that I talked to or the dealerships that I contacted came close to Lucien Blanchette or Salsbury's Chrysler Dodge Jeep. In addition, the ownership, management, and finance personnel at Salsbury"s Chrysler, Dodge Jeep were not only courteous polite, but extremely knowledgeable, competent, and capable, and worked hard to put me in the vehicle I wanted at the best price possible and on the best terns and conditions possible. In fact, while my wife and I were driving to Baton Rouge to close the sale on and pick up the vehicle that I had decided to purchase, a mishap occurred while Salsbury's employees were detailing the vehicle foe us. One of the windows was broken by a piece of equipment in the car wash at the dealership. Lucien Blanchette called and notified us of the mishap as soon as it occurred (while we were still in transit), and informed us that Salsbury's would either repair the window at its costs or provide us with another vehicle of the same make and model (albeit of a different color) at the same price. Consequently, I wound up receiving a vehicle which, although of the same make and model, had several features that the vehicle I bargained for did not, and which listed for $500.00 or $600.00 more than the vehicle I bargained for, at the same price. Salsbury"s absorbed the difference in the prices of the two vehicles to make things right and deliver upon its agreement with and commitment to me I would recommend Lucien Blanchette and Salsbury's Chrysler Dodge Jeep to anyone who wishes to purchase a vehicle, and have already recommended to both my brother and my brother-in law. More
