Same Day Sale without the pushiness of usual car sales!!!! Amazing staff. Josh (our salesman) was knowledgeable, patient, and efficient with our Tiguan sale. Service manager was rude. I am no longer going there. The service manager seems to be only interested in the customer spending as much money as possible. Never been treated so badly. They were not on my side and did not have my back on a warranty issue that had been exacerbated by VW. More

Since 2011, I have b 10/23/2017 Hello Everyone ! It’s time to write a review on my latest car buying venture. I'm still going strong and steady. Since 2011, I have bought a brand new car EVERY YEAR, and then some ! Now, on with my review . I just purchased a brand new 2017 Volkswagen GTI from Mastria Volkswagen, located in Raynham , Massachusetts . My Salesman was Peter Levesque. Peter Levesque is a wonderful Salesman. I initially met with Peter, in June of 2015. I test drove the all new for 2015 VW GTI. Peter was very accommodating. He let me drive the 2.0 Turbo GTI with the DSG, as well as, a 6 speed manual transmission. I took to Peter and his warm and honest personality immediately . Unfortunately, it wasn't the right time for me to get into a new car. However , I did promise Peter I would be back to purchase a brand new Volkswagen from him . Despite having easy access to competing Volkswagen Dealerships, Peter’s personality and honestly had me sold when I met him the very first time. Therefore, I very much wanted to do business with him. I finally decided I wanted to add a Volkswagen GTI, to my miniature coral of cars. Therefore, I called Peter Levesque on Sunday, 10/15/2017, and made an appointment to meet with him that morning at 11:30am. I met with Peter at the Mastria Volkswagen Dealership and we discussed the desired car I wanted and my financial options. I told Peter, that I wanted a 2017 Volkswagen GTI, with a 6 speed manual transmission. We discussed the color I wanted. We discussed available rebates . My color choices were the Tornado Red, and Black Pearl Metallic. My first choice of color was Tornado red. Peter told me he had several Tornado Red Volkswagen GTI’s in stock, however, all Tornado Red models, were equipped with the Automatic DSG transmission. Therefore, I decided to go with my second color choice, that, of which, being Crystal Black Pearl, witch had a 6 speed manual transmission. I got $2000 in rebates, plus free replacement tires for life. They also gave me well above allowance on my vehicle I traded in. A free extra protection Warranty that would cover small dents, dings, scratches as well as protection for the gorgeous 18" rims on the car . I can't say enough about my 2017 Volkswagen GTI. It’s truly a Car I’ve loved for the last 40 years, the VW GTI. The original. The one and only. The one, by which, all other HOT pocket Rockets are judged. I finally got my VW GTI, that I’ve loved ever since my adolescence. Everyone at the Dealership was courteous , warm and professional. I can't say enough about Peter Levesque. He's not only a good, honest Salesman. He's a great , warm and caring person . These personality traits all shine through in the first five minutes after talking to Peter. His professionalism, and salesmanship shine through with such refined brilliance . I'm very happy to have become a part of the Mastria Volkwagen family . I'm more grateful to know Peter Levesque. He’s just an all around great guy. The General Manager, Mike Wilson, was also totally awesome, and did me a major solid on my trade in value. The Finance Manager, Ricardo Dordete, got me the lowest interest rate possible, and made it a hassle free done deal ASAP. Thank You Peter Levesque, not only for selling me a beautiful car, but for also selling me the experience of becoming part of the Mastria Volkswagen family . Now, that is PRICELESS !! Not for out-of-state buyers but a great dealership I had been shopping for some while for a specific model/specification and found it here. Confirmed the price on the Internet and was told by their internet sales manager that they have "runners" that deliver vehicles to New York. A private sale on my old vehicle fell through and I ended up driving the 200 miles to Raynham from my NYC home to trade in my old car. Once time came to close the deal I discovered that Mass. does not issue temporary tags like many states and I would be unable to take the new car home that day (4/29). I went ahead with the deal anyway. Their finance manager had apparently taken the afternoon off and I was driven to the sister Buick dealership just down the road to conclude the paperwork; the salesman said he would be ready to pick me up in about 15 minutes. In fact, the transaction took almost two hours because the individual was unfamiliar with the other store's system. By the time I got on the road night work had started on I-95 and the excursion turned into a 14-hour day. Now I learned that they would not stand by the internet sales manager's offer to deliver the car in NY state. They said that once they had registered the car in NY state their salesman might be able to meet me halfway to exchange the new car for my trade-in. I explained that I was pretty tied up with a conference and overseas travel for the next couple of weeks and would have to take delivery of the vehicle after 5/18. Once time came to pick up the vehicle, the meeting half-way offer was off the table just like the "runner" delivery so I made another 400-mile round trip. Despite the fact that they knew that I would be delayed picking it up they handed it to me with a temporary 10-day inspection sticker that had expired the day before. All-in-all a pretty frustrating experience. That being said, if I lived nearby I would shop without hesitation: -Their prices are very competitive -They honor the "ePrice" offered by email -They gave me a very fair deal on my trade-in -There is no pressure to buy any unwanted warranties or other add-ons, at least not in my case -The store is very appealing in its lay-out and the staff very friendly -The vehicle was delivered to me with a full tank of gas -They even refunded $44 that they had over-estimated for processing the NY state paperwork If you've done your homework, this is as close to a no-haggle deal as you will get. The salesman at Mastria, TJ Leslie, was the only one who had thorough knowledge of the vehicle we were going to purchase. He also took his time to show us all of the features in the car. The salesmen at the other dealerships had no idea what was included at various trim levels. We visited Mastria for the competitive advertised price, but were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of TJ Leslie. More
Horrendous Sales Process; Pressured into Financing with Them We negotiated a deal on a car with Mastria Auto that was based on price and some basic cleanup to the car. It was NOT based on being married to their internal financing. In trying to make arrangements to receive documents for our own lender, Mastria started claiming the transaction HAD to be financed through their internal finance department. They actually refused to offer the car to us if we did not finance with them. We had already put $100 deposit down and spent numerous hours on the phone arranging the details (this was spread out over a Sunday to Thursday period). We had our own financing and were simply trying to obtain paperwork from Mastria to complete the transaction...they refused and kept pushing (VERY aggressively) for us to use their financing. Steve Baker, their General Manager was extremely rude and unaccomodating, saying he "would put the car out to the open public" if we did not submit a finance application. This bothered me so much I actually emailed the owner Rick Mastria. The owner also refused to honor the transaction and claimed our house was too far for maintenance to work well (although they had driven the car halfway to us for our test drive). I know car dealers get a bad rap for manipulating buyers but this was a completely shocking and rude experience and fits the "be careful with car dealers" thought most consumers have. I would not recommend Mastria to anyone and would warn all buyers to watch for their pressured financing scheme and lack of common decency. More

They have a new showroom/dealer building which is welcoming and easy for quick service. I had a small issue with the wrong Bluetooth client (wrong language) which Pete quickly got me scheduled and the issue corrected. They have competitive quotes, just do your homework before walking into ANY dealership to get the best value for your money. More
My overall experience at this dealership was great for several reasons. First off, Henry the service employee was so knowledgeable about the Volkswagen line of cars that he immediately knew what I was ta several reasons. He also knew it was under warranty, and that it would cost nothing for me to have it fixed. Secondly, he told me to leave the car and it would be ready at the end of the day...and it was. And thirdly, as it has been a few weeks now, I can honestly state...that the problem was fixed perfectly! When I picked up the car, Henry also reminded me of a scheduled maintenance service that would be coming up in about 3,000 miles. Yes, I would say this was an overall A+ visit. More
