Buying a car from a dealership never seems easy. Or straightforward. We’d purchased a 2016 Subaru Forester from Bruce at Mastria Subaru in Raynham a couple years ago, after an identical Forester had been ‘totaled’ in a frightening accident. We loved that Forester and believe to this day that in a less safe car we would be dead today. Bruce worked tirelessly not just to help us find another car of the same mileage, condition and year (even the same color); he then went to bat for us to argue tirelessly with our insurance provider that they needed to cover the full price of the new vehicle. We call that car the Lazarus. And so when we found ourselves needing a new second car it was without hesitation that we headed the hour and a half away to Mastria Subaru to find Bruce. We thought we wanted another Forester – it’s comfortable, it feels airy, the sightlines are very good and we knew it to be safe. There was a nice late-model car on the lot and we put a down-payment on it. Somehow the title didn’t clear. Our disappointment was pretty clear – but so was Bruce’s commitment to help us find a good car at a fair price. And so now we’re driving not just the Lazarus, but the Lazarus 2 – a nearly new Forester, newer by two years than the one we had agreed to buy, with fewer miles, more “bells and whistles,” wonderful new safety features we hadn’t known we’d love, at a price within a few hundred dollars of the car they were unable to deliver. We tell everyone we know: Go to Mastria, and be sure to ask for Bruce. More

It took me a while to find a new car but I kept going back to Mastria - Subaru and Bruce helped me find one that suited me perfectly. Recently purchased a 2020 jeep grand Cherokee from them. I gotta say before I bought the vehicle every time I would text about the car I'd get a response almost right away. I'm starting to get buyers remorse from buying a car at this place. I'm a union auto worker who works for Stellantis/ Chrysler so I know these jeeps inside and out pretty well especially the Grand Cherokee considering this is my 3rd grand Cherokee now that I've owned. Only reason why I purchased this vehicle and not a new grand Cherokee I don't like the new style. They told me the car had 125 inspection point which I question that, on the day of signing to buy the car panel that sits above passenger side front wheel was coming undone. I showed them and they told me it would be taking care of well just the other panel came off again and in fact usually when you buy a used car the dealer will clean/ detail the vehicle before it's get handed over to you. Just today I noticed all over the windows i don't know what it is but it looks like water stains and I can't remove it and not to mention in the back where the hatch is located there was dirt everywhere' so clearly they didn't clean xxxx. If they cleaned the windows they would easily see these spots everywhere. This week I'm taking the car in for the panel and now for these spots. I was told by a sheet metal specialist at my plant that looked at the panel that the panel itself needs to be replaced and in fact questioned if the vehicle has been hit. The car facts says no but it's not always reliable on the info you get regarding the history of the car. Another thing I noticed is the coating on a few of my riims is starting to peel off on a car that's barely 4 yrs old. Now I see why this car was sitting for over 60 days on the lot. I got rushed into buying this car but I'll say this, one way or another this car will get fixed properly cause believe me im not a guy you wanna mislead especially a brand I know very well. In fact I purchased the warranty that covers everything minus brake pads and I'm gonna put this warranty to the test starting this Wednesday. I paid a lot for this car to even have any of these issues. They kiss your xxx before you buy it so I'll see this week how good their word is. The warranty I purchased also states anytime I bring my vehicle in, I get a loaner car so I'll see right away if this warranty is xxxxxxxx if they try telling me I can't get a loaner. So yeah I like the vehicle but a part of me wishes I had gone to a Jeep dealer rather than a dealer who doesn't sell jeeps. Can't wait cause trust me I'm no pushover and I'll make it known if they try to xxxxxxxx me. More
When I first arrived to the dealership, I was looking to see a different car that I had in mind, but unfortunately it had sold a few days before that.
