Mrs. Tarynmcamp, We apologize, it looks like we have had some poor communication. You have been a loyal guest of ours since 2016 and have worked with Brandon as a sales associate and now Sales Manager. Our records indicate that both parties tried to work a deal out on either purchasing your lease or getting another one for several months prior. Unfortunately, back in May this year it was determined that you would be going in another direction and terminate your lease contract with GM Financial Services. We are surprised that now that it has been over three months since that date. We never want our guests to feel that we have unjustly treated them in any way, nor do we want them to think cannot discuss an issue they may have. Thank you for the offer to speak. Parts of what you’re saying are correct, but there’s quite a lot left out. It took multiple calls to get someone to respond. My husband actually had to call to finally get someone interested in selling us something. Then it was a ton of back and forth and “missing” emails. I’m responding now because I’m getting hit with bills that actually made me laugh. I tried to be kind figuring that everyone was either over worked or maybe the dealership was short staffed. Then my bill comes for THOUSANDS of dollars. I’m told “oh that would have been waived if you got another Cadillac.” Well…we tried. The offers were manipulative and over priced. I called a competitive Cadillac dealership and they didn’t have the same reasons why everything was so over priced. Not even close. I went with a closer dealership instead, AKA Lincoln. I see you’re reaching out now, which I do appreciate but how about when I tried to turn the car in? No responses. But guess what…a bunch of wear and tear charges! I’ve never had those in my life in any car I leased. This car was EXCLUSIVELY serviced at Cadillac. But since no one was there to accept it, I had no choice but to just drop it off. It’s very interesting how no one mentioned any wear and tear at any service appointment. And the guy on the phone telling me about the charges had no other cars to compare it to. Just a measurement of a tire that may or may not be on the car. I said- do they work for Cadillac? No, it’s a third party. Of course it is. So yes, I went with Lincoln. They were a dream to work with. Responsive, helpful, and made buying a car a breeze. So anyone reading this, I so highly recommend the Lincoln in Longwood. I’ve posted this review about Cadillac on tons and tons of sites now and so many people have reached out having the same experience.

Hello, We apologize that your visit with us did not go as planned. I took some time to review your file and the offer that TrueCar provided you. In most instances, the value TrueCar provides is fairly accurate to the marketplace. This was a rare instance in which the value TrueCar provided was much higher than the market value. The original MSRP on your car was $30500 and the value from TrueCar was $27900. This delta between MSRP and TrueCar value is more in line with what a new car with no miles or extremely low miles would be say within 6 months of the original purchase. Here at Massey Cadillac, we are part of a very large dealer network of well over 100+ dealerships where we have a centralized appraisal center. We take the pictures, verify if there are any scratches or dings, and put in all the equipment. They then review what the value is and where best to place the car within our organization. This evaluation process is not at the store level and is based on thousands and thousands of vehicles. We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience.
