Dear Ms. Harbilas, thank you for taking the time to speak with Billy Waddle our service manager today. I apologize we were not able to explain the process, diagnosis and procedure we needed to follow to order the part and make the repair. This explains the mileage discrepancy. Because of the part failure, the actual mileage was not visible when you brought the vehicle in. The correct mileage of the vehicle is stored in an onboard computer in the event of a failure of this nature. The repair order requires mileage to be entered in order to process and order needed parts. To expedite the process, an estimate of the mileage was made based on seven weeks of ownership. After the new part was installed the correct mileage is now displayed in the odometer field. The confusion came when, in error, our service team failed to correct the mileage estimated initially with the current, accurate mileage. Again, please accept our apology for this. We appreciate your support and eagerly await our next conversation to restore your faith in our team. Sincerely, Bill Hull
