I have a GMC Denali Yukon XL and we had been having issues with oil consumption. We had been asking our service rep at different visits because we were having to add oil every 8-900 miles. We had it documented that we started asking back around 60,000 some miles. At some point, Marvin K Brown checked the oil/changed filter, etc. and had us keep track of mileage before getting the "add oil" message. We took the car home, and the radiator leaked - turned out the service personnel didn't screw the cap on correctly so I had to take time out again to take the car back. We got the "add oil" message around 900 miles and called to talk to our service rep who told us that this was normal for this vehicle. It just didn't seem right and the car was getting close to the 100,000/5 year mark which was the end of our warranty. Finally, we decided to go to a Chevrolet dealer who immediately told us that it was a defect common for these vehicles and we needed a new motor! It was just 4 days away from the warranty expiration. They replaced our motor and provided us a rental car for 3 weeks! If we would have accepted the answer, we would have had to cover the cost ourselves of the repair and of the rental car. I will not be coming to this dealership again. More
I needed work done on my truck, and since MKB service center is only open M-F, it is very difficult for me to find a time to leave my truck for a full day. I finally worked out a day with my work, and I made an 8:30 appointment with MKB for Friday, Apr 6 2012. They took my truck, asked what needed to be done, and sent me on my way. At 2:00pm I get a call stating that they had not yet started work, and would probably not get to it at all that day. I asked them how this could be given that I had a reservation for 8:30am. They THEN told me (but no one had previously explained) that the 8:30 appointment really means nothing. It might give me priority over a another car that arrived at the same time, but it does not mean you will get serviced. I picked up my truck at 5:30pm, and nothing had been done by MKB. My truck sat on their lot for a full day untouched. As a result, I wasted a full day of my time plus the time of friends who drove me to/from MKB. I was very dissapointed and will not be back More
We finally had our Cadillac. Thanks to Robert Toussaint he made it awesome. He's so attentive to our "wish list" and so professional in walking us thru the maze of the "computer jargon" of our SRX.
