Mark, I would again like to apologize for the stress that we caused you when repairing your truck. It is truly unfortunate. As we discussed, and to reiterate, the underlying issue was , in fact, an issue of our internal communication. It seems that you forgot to include an important detail above, the one that actually set this regrettable incident in motion. Specifically that we called you at approximately 10 am to discuss the job and need repairs. You did tell me when we met that you did receive that message and that you were outside busy with snow removal. The call at 1:00 pm was from you in response to the message left earlier. Being unable to respond quickly we were faced with a situation involving a truck that does not run in a bay preventing any work from being done on your truck or another customers vehicle, and a hardworking technician whose livelihood relies on being productive Our service director did make the judgement to press forward on the repair to your truck. Regrettably, that decision was not clearly communicated to the adviser. Several hours later (1:00 pm) when you did return the call our adviser presented the job as he intended to hours earlier. He was not aware of the decision made earlier by our service director to move forward with the repair nor did he check as he should have. There was no malice or fraud, only an effort to diagnose and repair a vehicle in a timely fashion. That effort was clearly turned on its head and we are truly sorry for that.
