Fixed the original problem but caused two others... Took my GMC Denali in to have the starter fixed. Cost $1200 which is high, but at least it works now. However, when I picked up the car, neither the clock nor the backup camera worked; both had been working fine prior to the starter repair. Took the car back in - they said they fixed both issues. Picked up the car, and the backup camera STILL wasn't working. Showed it to the maintenance sales person and the tech - they said it wasn't their problem (and the tech copped a bit of an attitude). The tech obviously disturbed the signal cables during the original repair, but refuses to acknowledge he did anything wrong. Be very cautious with these folks - I will certainly not be going back. Plenty of other places to get maintenance done that deal honestly with customers. More
Understanding the customer's point of view. I worked with Conner in the service department. I asked his a rather "touchy" question about costs of tires. He did not get defensive nor react, rather he did research, showed me the research and explain GMC's point of view. I thought to myself, "This young man must have a Master's Degree in Diplomacy" since he was SO professional and kind. I was both stunned and delighter; he also treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. He is a major assent to Marty's GMC-he should be highly commended! Absolutely exceptional! Yesterday I had car problems w/ my GMC Acadia. I called the place where I bought it and they couldn’t help me. I called Marty’s, where my husband & I Yesterday I had car problems w/ my GMC Acadia. I called the place where I bought it and they couldn’t help me. I called Marty’s, where my husband & I have bought cars before, and Bill answered in service. I told him the situation and without hesitation he said bring the car to Martys and we can fix it today and give you a rental car so you can get to work. I was so happy! Bill made my stressful morning so much better and so easy. I had some papers to sign and he showed me how my rental car started and was so nice and helpful. Bill went above and beyond in customer service and I’ve told so many friends and family about my experience at Marty’s! You run a top notch dealership and I will be servicing and buying cars from Martys now on in the future. If I had to rate my service from 1-10, I would give Bill a 20! Absolutely exceptional!!!!
