Nope, never again. They are probably the most dishonest dealer I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I’ll find another place to bring my vehicle when it needs service. To be fair, I’m not sure if it’s GMC policy or the dealership but it’s clear that they do business for themselves and the customer is an afterthought…maybe. They’ll tell you that you need an expensive part ($1000.00 not including labor costs) when in fact, that is not the case. A simple reset was all that was necessary. Who’s at fault? The mechanic that “diagnosed” the problem or the service department that passed on the information to the customer? I’m no mechanic so I’m at their mercy when it comes to fixing these new vehicles, and I believed them when they gave me that xx story about needing a new $1000.00 part. I just happened to leave that dealership and ran into a friend. When I explained what happened at the dealership, he asked me if they disconnected the battery…I didn’t know. He disconnected the battery and long story short, I don’t need the $1000.00+ part. Everything works just fine. More
