Honestly the best sales experience I’ve ever had When approaching this dealership I explained what I was looking for to our salesman (Donald Barrett). Donald was very interested in our interest and only what we were interested in. He did not try and sell us something we did not want. He didn’t really sell us anything, he just walked us through the process of putting us in our new vehicle. I had recently tried another dealer who could not work with us and tried pushing a sale on vehicles we did not want. Donald got us into our new vehicle with what we had to work with for our budget and went above and beyond. I will be returning to purchase further vehicles at Marty’s GMC because of Donald and Mark Savage the general manager. My overall experience with this dealership and their employees was above a 10 and could not thank them enough! More
Refund Runaround Signed paperwork to purchase a vehicle from Marty's 6/30/17. They did not have a title to the vehicle and I felt unsure of signing but did. Driving home I called the dealer and spoke with Donald the salesman. I told him I had changed my mind about the purchase and wanted him to mail my check ($500 deposit) to me. I made myself perfectly clear about this. I visited the dealership the next weekend and saw my name still on the truck. I asked why my name was still on this truck and I was told it was just a hold tag because they still don't have the title. I again made myself perfectly clear I did not want this vehicle. Donald told me no problem his boss just took another truck in this past week and would contact me later when it is ready. I told Donald I was going to look at other dealers with the same type of truck. Well after several call to the dealership and talking with Donald and Ron the Sales Manager I have been promised this money would be returned within 48 hours. That time frame had passed and I called again. This time I spoke with Donald because the Sales Manager was not in. I asked to speak to te General Manager but was told he wasn't in either. During my conversation with Donald he told me the Sales Manager was handling that but would find out what was going on. Donald called me back within 15-20 minutes and told me the check was mailed out Monday 7/17. Guess what still haven't received the check. More
Should've read the reviews first... Disappointed, extremely unprofessional, poor communication and completely disorganized. Wanted to do business locally, ended up buying a Ford instead. I pulled in to this dealer and asked for help to at least get the car shut off. The service Rep told me they didn't have anyone who could help sorry! I drove to another Buick dealer an hour away and they took the car right in and arranged for my repairs. More
Dishonest Factory and ordered a new Yukon XL from these guys after talking to the sales guy about our trade and what we wanted. All was good we put down $500 deposit and we were told 6-8 weeks until it would show up. Took 20 weeks to show up which is not the delers fault at all. However, not once in the 20 weeks did Anyone from Marty's contact me with an update or even just to say "sorry we can't rush the factory"... Even after the Yukon was delivered, I had to drive through the lot to see that it was actually there! They were trying to find my number? After I came in to finalize they said they didn't not have any record of my trade (of course the salesmen had left or been fired between my order and delivery!) Martys then offered me $7,000 LESS than originally offered. I walked out. Went to another dealer 2 days later and was immediately offered 6,500 more than Martys was offering. They are dishonest and thought they had me over a barrel and were going to take advantage. Will never go back for myself or my business. More
They tried to sabatage a deal elsewhere VERY unhappy with the performance of a man named Ron when I decided to follow my heart on a bad feeling. There is a lot to say here but let me tell you one thing; BEWARE of this outfit. I ended up traveling outside my area to another dealership (Taska in Woonsocket RI). Now this is not a plug for them although they deserve it immensely. Ron from Marty's GMC thought it would be cute to call over there just before signing the deal and saving $3700.00 dollars for the same truck may I add, to tell them a fabricated story stating that my truck was leaking antifreeze into the block. He was obviously trying to wrench up the deal but it did not work and now I have what me the consumer was looking for. Needless to say that was not true and they never took my truck for a test drive but rather tried to offer me far less than its actual value. Believe me there is a lot more to say about this character Ron A. who hides behind this fake façade and really should be fired. I did write a review on its own website and knew that the readers would never see it but I did it because someone over there and over his head will. So Ron A. will get the message More

That being said ,we bought a new Buick Lacrosse this month from Marty's. Delivery and checkout with the salesman was terrible. Very inpersonal and unprofessional. We were left on our own to figure out a car with many technical features. When I got home I fired off an email to the general manager(Kevin Ihlefeld) and owner /CEO (Christine Alicandro) Whithin anhour Kevin called me and wanted to know what he and his staff could do to gain our trust and respect. We were asked to drop off the car,given a loaner while they detailed the car and we went thru a redelivery. Special thanks to Kevin for making us feel like someone who made a great purchase and and hopefully choosing a great dealership.If you have problems please take it up the ladder or chain of command to the approprite people who have their important reputation on the line.Please do the same. They can't serve you but waste your time Before I went there, I talked with them through phone and email about pricing, and we had an agreement on the price for the car I want. Then I spent 2 hours to get there and you know what? They couldn't give me that price and tried to persuade me to accept another price which is much higher than what we talked before. If this is the end, I wouldn't give them such rate. Their manager showed up at the end and satirized the price we agreed before, questioned customer with ironic words. This is a terrible experience and when I left their store I called another dealer and made the deal with them even the price is a little bit higher than expected but still much better than what they gave me. For any consumer who is contacting them or will do that, Don't waste your time to go there! Seriously! More
