I brought my Honda Pilot in to get two keys cut and three other reprogrammed. I called the day before to make sure they had the new regular key and key fob in stock at the repair shop. The guy said they ha other reprogrammed. I called the day before to make sure they had the new regular key and key fob in stock at the repair shop. The guy said they had both keys in stock. We went in this morning and it took three hours for them to tell us that did not have the new regular key in stock and we would have to come back again after they cut the new key fob and programmed all 4 keys. In addition, they told us that we needed new windshield wipers when they were replaced brand new 5 days ago. I have 5 Honda Pilots and unfortunately I have to go Honda Dealerships to get the keys cut and programmed and warranty repairs. I takes about 3 hours every time I go in there to get keys cut and reprogrammed. That is crazy for 20 minutes of work. Martin Honda is borderline incompetent and dishonest with their recommended repairs. I am done going there for anything. Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. More

Told me to wait until Tuesday Asked if they could do on Saturday since I am customer who has leased 4-5 vechicles through this dealership. Coronavirus protective measures at Martin Honda Service are sketchy at best, I had hours to watch the lack of social distancing, improper or no use of masks while employees spoke with customers and drove t are sketchy at best, I had hours to watch the lack of social distancing, improper or no use of masks while employees spoke with customers and drove their cars. Although I had an early appointment, my car was put on hold for hours, waiting until a mechanic was available. No attempt was made to contact me to reschedule so I could wait safely at home. While transportation was provided to those who wanted to wait at home, there was no way to get a ride back when work was completed. The outdoor waiting area is hot, loud, and dangerous. Metal folding chairs set up in a few parking spaces in a dead-end between two long buildings of service bays. The narrow lane between is supposed to be one-way but it really isn't. It's a demolition derby of customers, employees, deliveries, and a lunch truck all jockeying for position with varying skill and confusion. Convenient for service advisors and uncomfortable and risky for customers. You don't want to know about the sanitary arrangements: one toilet in a mens room for all of the waiting customers. Cars are wiped down after service but then a valet will often drive the car again to park in a new location and fail to wipe it down. All in all, an epic fail. For many reasons this was the worst customer experience I have had in my long association with Martin dealerships and service. I feel as if I was needlessly put at risk, ignored, stressed, overcharged, and dismissed. If you must go, wait until the pandemic is over because Martin is Not Delivering right now. More

Martin Collision Center Review I would not recommend Martin Collision Center, located at 298 E. Cleveland AVE. in Newark, DE. I took my Kia in for a repair to my drivers side door I would not recommend Martin Collision Center, located at 298 E. Cleveland AVE. in Newark, DE. I took my Kia in for a repair to my drivers side door in May 2019. Scheduling took three weeks and when I received the vehicle, I noticed swirl marks in the paint. In the sunlight, it looked terrible. I wrote to the dealer less than two weeks later "The 2017 Kia repair on the door is showing a lot of buffing circles, is that normal (I'm hoping not). Is this something that can be fixed?", I included a picture and they asked me to bring back the vehicle. They said that it could be buffed out with some polish. This was not correct information, another repair shop told me they skipped a step in the repair, using only one buff pad instead of two. When using only one buff pad on dark colored vehicles, it does not present well. Again, it wasn't done correctly and when I picked up the vehicle, no one was willing to get my car from the back lot and one of the employees actually said "I only do that for paying customers". Well, if you had done it correctly the first time, I wouldn't be here. Honestly, do you think I was to not have my car again for another day? I ended up taking to another collision center for repair and sent an email to Martin Collision and no response from them. I would not recommend this shop unless your insurance company has some sort of deal with them to guarantee the repair for life (or something to that affect). The best thing about this collision center is the new coffee machine they have. That's about it. More
CRV has been a challenge - Ripoff pricing for Timing Chain I purchased my 2010 CRV from Mainline Honda. Have serviced it here and at West Chester Honda closer to home. I brought it in for state inspection on I purchased my 2010 CRV from Mainline Honda. Have serviced it here and at West Chester Honda closer to home. I brought it in for state inspection on June 21 and to evaluate check engine light alert. I was surprised that they required $99.95 just to interpret the check engine light (never had a dealer charge for this quick diagnostic of the control module). Service advisor then indicated I needed to replace the timing chain - total estimated cost of $1,518.00. I had an uneasy feeling that this was an end of month push to generate service revenue. I called West Chester Honda and the cost of the same repair is $850.00 (less a coupon of $100 - brings it to half the cost of Mainline!). I'm glad I checked but I am disgusted by the shakedown attempt. I am a longtime Honda customer - the CRV is my fifth Honda product. Between airbags and many other challenges, this has been a high cost of ownership. Lots of headaches. Service advisor was polite. More
