This was my second car purchase with Martin Honda. When my 2009 Honda Fit was recently crushed by a tractor trailer while parked on my street, I immediately searched for my prior salesperson, Shari Godwin, my 2009 Honda Fit was recently crushed by a tractor trailer while parked on my street, I immediately searched for my prior salesperson, Shari Godwin, on the internet. She had been such a help when I bought my first new car that I knew if I could find her she would make recovering from this loss easier. And I wasn't wrong. I was thrilled to see she was still with Martin Honda, five years after my earlier purchase. When I met with her, she immediately remembered me and some of our talks from that first purchase. It was nice to not be just another sales figure in the past. I told her what happened to my FIT and she was absolutely outraged with me. Talking with Shari about what kind of car I needed - both five years ago and this year - is the easiest thing. She asks the right questions, she kept me focused on what I was trying to accomplish, she offered options for consideration to be sure that another FIT was right. Shari cares that you get YOUR car. And it shows in how she works with you to accomplish that. Car buying for me was a pretty scary thing ... you are always afraid you'll be taken advantage of, you'll miss a trick, you'll forget to ask the right question.
