We had an excellent experience working with Ms. Godwin. We were interested in an Accord Hybrid which is a new model in the US. There were not many to be found, but we are patient customers. Shari was ver We were interested in an Accord Hybrid which is a new model in the US. There were not many to be found, but we are patient customers. Shari was very good about working with us. She has a great sense of humor and is a very good listener. She was very saavy about learning what our parameters were and determining what all the options were. Once we figured out the model and colors that we were interested in buying, she found one for us and brought it to the dealership. I would recommend her to anyone and if we were looking to buy another Honda, we would go back to her without a second thought. The only negative experience we had had nothing to do with Shari. While we were going through the process of paying for our car, two different representatives offered to sell us additional protections. One representative offered to sell us additional treatments for the upholstery, the underbody and the paint. The other representative offered to sell us extended warranty packages. I felt this was disingenuous on the part of the dealership. First, additional services and products like these which can add hundreds or thousands of dollars to the price tag should be offered during the initial and follow-up discussions with the sales representative, not in the final stage while taking possession of the vehicle. Second, offers to coat the underbody or paint job are inconsistent with the attitude I would expect from a high quality brand. I want the dealer to declare, "We build and sell a great, high quality car." Offering to sell additional protection implies that the car is not all that it could be. My recommendation to Martin Honda is move all the additional offers to the beginning of the discussion. My recommendation to new car buyers is work with Shari if you can. More
