The manager comes out with numbers and it's way over what we wanted to pay. Once we told him that, he pretty much lost interest in trying to make some sort of deal. Not even some sort of attempt to look for a truck to trade with another dealer nothing. And the whole time while being there they never disgusted discounts and promo going on. We would ask the salesperson and he kept saying, "I can talk it over with my manager." Just a very bad experience and vibe there. More
LEMONS AND BAD WARRANTY LEMONS LEMONS LEMONS!!! BAD WARRANTY BAD WARRANTY BAD WARRANTY!!!!! DO NOT BUY AYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! WE BOUGHT A TRUCK FROM HERE AND IT W LEMONS LEMONS LEMONS!!! BAD WARRANTY BAD WARRANTY BAD WARRANTY!!!!! DO NOT BUY AYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! WE BOUGHT A TRUCK FROM HERE AND IT WAS IN THE SHOP 2 TIMES WITHIN THE 1ST 2 MONTHS WE BOUGHT IT!!! IT TOOK OVER 10 WEEKS TO REPAIR!!!!!!! WE ARE STILL WAITING TO GET OUR TRUCK BACK!!!! After 8 weeks without the truck then they FINALLY offer to get us a rental. The story- We were in the market for a SuperDuty for my Husband, we never buy used but the deal at Martin Chevrolet was too good to pass up so we went down there and purchased it. The fact that the F250 only had 65K miles on it made us feel confident in the sale, however being that it was a used truck and we made sure to purchase the $3000 warranty which they claimed covered EVERYTHING and they reiterated EVERYTHING. The first repair, warranty solutions made us come out of pocket $500 for hoses, and we had to pull their teeth to get them to cover repairs- we hadn't even had the truck a month at that time. 2nd repair, the oil cooler goes out and warranty solutions just flat out would not cover the $3000 repair on a truck again... the truck has less than 65k miles on it, this is unheard of and also why we purchased the most expensive warranty they had to offer. Frustrated with our worthless and expensive warranty we contact the person, Willy, who sold it to us- the one who insisted it covered everything! After trying to get ahold of him for nearly a week as our Truck sat at Ken Grody Ford waiting for us to come to a solution with the warranty or the dealership that sold us a now suspected LEMON- it sat there for a week waiting for the green light to continue on with a repair that would have taken them a day to complete. Willy finally calls back and his demeanor was very unsavory, my husband was so frustrated as you could imagine since we had spent the last week getting the run around, Willy tells my husband that "IF HE DOESNT STOP TALKING 'AT' HIM LIKE THAT, THAN HE ISNT GOING TO DO ANYTHING FOR HIM". Seriously, thats how these people are trained to speak to frustrated consumers purchasing big ticket items. So we then ask to speak to a General Manager... come to find out they don't exactly have one? But they directed us to this guy, Andy. Andy wanted to come to a solution and sounded like he wanted to help so he set up a deal where the owner, Joe Giacomin. The deal was Joe would pay for the repairs as long as we get the truck serviced at Martin Chevrolet (mind you we live in Riverside...) even though we already had 2 diesel mechanics at Ford ready to go, this seemed like a tolerable solution, so we went for it. I mean, how long could it take for them to fix 1 part? They requested the work order from Ford, and said that they would cover exactly what they had on the work order, no more no less. The day we Drop the truck off at service, no one was aware that this was a special 'custom' repair authorized and requested by the owner. Andy who orchestrated this whole deal didn't contact the service department or anything to ensure a smooth drop off. So, we are there trying to explain to this girl, Tiffany, That the truck is being brought in under special circumstances- being that we had a work order from a different dealership and the truck was a Ford you'd think that Andy would have informed someone. Nope... Tiffany was so confused!!! She had no idea what my Husband was talking about. So, we left her with everything she needed, the ford work order, the direct number to the diesel mechanic that was working on the truck, and told her to contact Andy because he was the one orchestrating this deal. A week goes by, didn't hear from anyone. We called to check the status and she says the used car mechanic is really backed up and they are trying to buy the part we need replaced from Ford. She says she will let us know when the truck gets started, week 2 goes by no word from her poor anyone. We track her down and she says they are barely got the part and the truck is in two pieces they are starting to work on it, but after I kept asking her questions she changed her tune and said NO ONE IS REALLY EAGER TO WORK ON A TRUCK THEY CANT GUARANTEE THEY ARE GONNA GET PAID FOR THIS and the used car mechanic is busy so it will get done when it gets done. She said she would let us know. its now like week 4 and we are so tired of pestering people to figure out whats going on with our truck, so we call the service manager, he had no idea what was going on and according to him they haven't even touched the truck! So tiffany was just lying. Then someone else started handling our truck, so now its like week 8 and we get a call saying the truck is done, and THEY CHANGED THE WRONG PART!!!! It is now week 10, they called to let us know that they finally fixed the truck but now they can't get the truck to 'run properly' so they are going to drop it off at the Ford Dealership. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!! More
Fauls advertising!! I received a couple of letter in the mail stating they would give me 120% trade in value on my 2006 Duramax 2500, and if we did not do a deal i would I received a couple of letter in the mail stating they would give me 120% trade in value on my 2006 Duramax 2500, and if we did not do a deal i would get a free oil change, and although the used car manager said my truck was in excellant condition with very low miles, he would not even give me trade in value! I am looking for a new Tahoe over $70K and they would not even discuss the letters sent to my home, the used car manager said to me, oh well i dont know what to say but we will not honor your letter, no oil change, no trade in! I have purchased 3 trucks from them in the last 15 years and have had my service done there, i will now find a new dealer to work with, very suprised that i got ne suport from the new car managers either, they advertise as a family business but treet you like a stranger after 15 years! This is the worst business in the South Bay!! Since buying our car in 2009, we have had issue after issue with it and been faced with nothing but rudeness and total incompetence when bringing in it for buying our car in 2009, we have had issue after issue with it and been faced with nothing but rudeness and total incompetence when bringing in it for repairs!! To add insult to injury, they tout themselves as a friendly/family oriented business and my experience with them has been very dishonest and unfair! This morning was the last straw when given an invoice for a new transmission on a 2007 GMC Yukon with only 70,000 miles on it with "NO CHARGE" next to all parts and labor and a total of over $800 as the balance. When asked what the $800 covered, the less than helpful lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and took out a second invoice (the dealer's copy) with charges on it and no explanation on why there were 2 versions of our settlement. When we asked the service representative to give us a breakdown of charges, he merely wrote on a scrap of paper and his number wasn't even close to the figures we were shown on the secret "dealer" invoice. We asked him to explain and he said taxes.....hmmmm we calculated with tax at that point and it was still off!! We brought this to his attention and his response......"we use a GMC calculator". I had no idea GMC has their own mathematical equations! We spoke to GMC directly and they offered to cover 80% of the charge and when we asked this dealer about their portion, they merely responded with we did everything we could. We immediately called GMC again directly and they have NO RECORD of our repairs........save yourself time and money and stay away!! They not only lack customer service skills but are downright offensive when spoken to. The manager of operations insulted us on a personal level and the ladies behind the counter and their whispering/eye rolling/and loud gasps for air were just TACKY!!! STAY AWAY!!! More
Since I was having issue with battery which is under warranty, and brought to the dealer. After inspection, they said there is nothing wrong with it, and they cannot replace it with a new one. After few warranty, and brought to the dealer. After inspection, they said there is nothing wrong with it, and they cannot replace it with a new one. After few weeks, I had the same issue, and brought to the dealer, and still the same response. Also, they gave me a loaner which is way too small for what I drive. I do not understand why they call it "loaner". It does not repalce any mean... After been inspected twice and was told there is nothing wrong with it, I am still having issue. There must be something wrong with the mechanich there. Also, I asked them to replace it with a new one, but they say unless they find anything wrong with it they cannot. Also, they mentioned that they do not represent GM or Chevy since they are just franchisee so they cannot do much. They should know "doctrin of agency"!!!! NEVER GO THERE FOR SERVICE! More

The service dept is a scam for any person who wants service and is not covered by a waranty. This my first time coming here to get service on my 1994 geo metro 3 cylinder engine. They quoted me 500 dol service and is not covered by a waranty. This my first time coming here to get service on my 1994 geo metro 3 cylinder engine. They quoted me 500 dollars for a tune up consisting of replacing spark plug wires and cap. Mind you this car only has 3 spark plugs with easy access. They also wanted 800 dollars to replace timing belt, I took it else where to a private mechanic and he quoted me 350 for all of the above which is 950 dollars cheaper. I felt insulted by this dealer prices. I see many other reviews and they all appear to be fake five star ratings done during the same months and with duplicates done by guest logins. One reviewer I followed and he put out over 2,500 reviews all 5 starfor various companies. If you see a five star rating be aware for fakes. More
