This was one of the best vehicle buying experience i have ever had. As soon as i walked in, i was asked what i can be helped with and it went smooth and relatively quick process. Dropped off 2018 Tahoe for two issues on Wednesday(8:00am appt). Called service adviser Thursday morning for update. Hadn't found the problem yet. Called again later Thursday. Service adviser told me the car appt). Called service adviser Thursday morning for update. Hadn't found the problem yet. Called again later Thursday. Service adviser told me the car should be ready Friday between 11:00- 12:00. Called Friday 12:45 pm. Service adviser told me that car was done but that they were waiting for insurance payment(extended warranty). I went to the dealer at 2:15 pm and was told again by service adviser that he was on the phone with the insurance. After an hour I asked service adviser what the status was, he went on to say that until they received payment from insurance they could not release the car. That that was the dealers policy. Two hours later a service manager comes out and says that there was still no payment from insurance, that if I would like to pay for the car then they would reimburse me once they received payment. After a long discussion regarding his service adviser and there policy, I paid for my car and left very disappointed and angry. Needless to say one of the problems I brought the car in for it is still there. I noticed it as soon as I pulled out of the driveway. The service adviser did not keep me informed of the progress, I had to call him. The service manager did tell me that I came in unannounced. Well after 3 days. I felt I needed to come in and see what was going on with my car, since the service adviser did not keep me informed. I would never recommend Martin Chevrolet to anyone. I had used this dealership years ago for one of my other Tahoe's. Now I know why I hadn't been there in years. More
Great experience buying my zr2 here! I was kept up to date on the order of my truck and the buying process was so easy. The staff is not pushy like other dealers I had gone to. Service took quite a long time even though I had an appointment. It was a holiday weekend so I did expect that, but there was no communication about the wait time.
