I’m pretty disappointed in the proposal for work to be done. Diagnosis was that camshaft solenoids need to be replaced at a cost of $560. I thought that seemed excessive. They explained that the work woul done. Diagnosis was that camshaft solenoids need to be replaced at a cost of $560. I thought that seemed excessive. They explained that the work would take 2-1/2 hours of labor and $140 for parts. I bought new solenoids for under $100. I changed the solenoids myself in 33 minutes, start to finish. I don’t appreciate the opportunistic attempt to overcharge for the work. The labor rate is high enough to avoid the need to pad the required hours. More
