We had a very positive experience at this Marlboro Nissan dealership and it was a pleasure dealing with a no pressure sales representative, Jim McCall. The negotiations and paperwork went through quickly dealership and it was a pleasure dealing with a no pressure sales representative, Jim McCall. The negotiations and paperwork went through quickly and hassle-free. We received a comparable rate to what some of the banks had us preapproved at, so we went with financing through the dealership. This was my first time to this dealer. I brought my car in for a recall. The repair was done in a timely fashion as I waited. At the end of my wait the representative came to me and says that I need a new in for a recall. The repair was done in a timely fashion as I waited. At the end of my wait the representative came to me and says that I need a new battery because it is dead and they could install a new one for $160. It was so dead, that they “will need to boost it to get it out of the bay.” I questioned this because I have not had a problem with it. I was having issues starting the car because of a defective crank sensor and did not experience any issue that would lead me to believe that there was an issue with my battery. I began to feel uncomfortable and thought about it and said no thank you, I will take the car as is just leave it running after you jump it to get it out of the bay. When I went get the car it was turned off and started just fine. I went to my mechanic who checked it and said it was just fine. The car has now started 53 times and counting. In addition, I had noticed that the clock was not reset and the stations I listen to still programmed which leads me to believe that the car never lost power. This only confirmed the suspicion that they were trying to screw me. If it was someone else, like an elderly person, they probably would have said yes to the battery because of their fears and gotten screwed. Since, for some reason this has not yet been posted, I want to add that the car has been started at least 100 times and still no issue. Dead Battery NOT! I am disturbed by this whole event to the point I am writing this. Personally with this type of deceit I am surprised the dealership is in business. I am in the market for a new car this next year and they have lost me as a potential customer. I will never go to them again! Customer BEWARE! More
Casey was great, I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to spend and Casey made it happen. He kept in touch regularly to let me know what was happening. I had leather seats and running boards put on the Pa to spend and Casey made it happen. He kept in touch regularly to let me know what was happening. My inital experience here was great. The service was quick and friendly but the quality of service was lack-luster. I have been waiting a week for my registration when I was promised it would be emaile quick and friendly but the quality of service was lack-luster. I have been waiting a week for my registration when I was promised it would be emailed to me the day after purchasing my vehicle. Waiting this long has been an inconvenience and a disappointment. I have left several voice mails and sent several emails to Marlboro Nissan, and even called to speak to a manager; but still have no registration. If Marlboro Nissan does not have the ability to email a registration to their customers they should stop blowing smoke. False promises are tacky and because of this I would never recommend Marlboro Nissan to anyone I know even if it was worth $100 for every referral. Edward J. Montgomery More
I recently purchased a 2009 Nissan Murano at Marlboro Nissan while trading in my 05 Jeep Liberty. I had a great hassle free buying experience. Todd Weinberg internet sales manager was fantastic to work w Nissan while trading in my 05 Jeep Liberty. I had a great hassle free buying experience. Todd Weinberg internet sales manager was fantastic to work with and the entire process was stress free. The dealership gave me a great price on my trade-in and I was very impressed with them. they made the negotiation process simple and quick. Overall, one of the best buying experiences and I would certainly recommend this dealership to others. More
I like straight talk. I asked for it and got it. The price was way better than I thought. I got options I didn't think I could get, and I ended up with a Cube that was exactly, I mean exactly, what I wa price was way better than I thought. I bought a new Sentra at this dealership, and the sales experience was fine. However, my numerous experiences with the service department have been anything but. First, the car was delivered without a work experience was fine. However, my numerous experiences with the service department have been anything but. First, the car was delivered without a working horn, and i needed to leave it overnight to be serviced. This, less than a week after buying the car. A year later I had an accident and brought the car there to be repaired. Their bookkeeping practices are extremely shoddy, as my insurance company paid them, but they did not have a record of it, and demanded payment from me in order to release the car. I paid the bill because I needed my car, but eventually, after receiving a nasty phone call from my insurance company, they wrote me a check for a refund. Finally, when the car was 2000 miles out of warranty, my check engine light came on so i brought the car there to be diagnosed and repaired. They informed me that, even though the oil light did not go on, the car was "very low" on oil, and that the engine needed to be replaced. They verbally quoted me a price and since I am not familiar with the prices of car parts, it sounded reasonable and I told them to go ahead. A week later when the car was ready, I was presented with a bill for over four times that estimate, which I refused to pay. When I demanded he fix the price, the service manager told me he would get back to me the next day. After 5 days of not hearing from him, I left a message, which was not returned. I then came into the dealership in person to discuss the issue with him, and he was not available for several days and made no attempt to call or contact me until a week later. Eventually, before he even returned my call, I needed to take my car back while the bill was still in dispute. They didn't realize I had taken it until 12 days later, when they finally called, threatened to sue me, and then asked if I'd be willing to negotiate (which I had told them right from the start I was willing to do). I returned their call that same day, asking them for an offer, and did not hear back from them for another week. More
Customer experience is very important to me. The salesman listened carefully to my needs and worked with me to provide the best solution. He was friendly, helpful, cooperative and had a "can do" attitude. I listened carefully to my needs and worked with me to provide the best solution. I had a great experience with the team at Marlboro Nissan. I had a very specific vehicle in mind and they were able to quickly price out options for me in both new and used inventory.
