Positives....saleperson I dealt with was very nice and gave me a decent deal on a 2008 Rogue. Service people tried hard to please even thought they were dealing with an inferior product. Negatives....was sold a lemon....had to return the car for service many times within the first few months of ownership for indicator light issues, malfunctioning air bags, keyless malfunctioning keyless lock/ignition problems., etc. Had to replace a tire due to a minor road hazard with 5000 miles on it which cost $200 out of my pocket (Nissan does NOT warranty their tires). As soon as the winter came in MA I had a few near accidents due to poor tire traction, and just recently skidded into a guardrail going only 25 miles per hour after a snowstorm which resulted in severe damage to the passanger side doors. The 10 cars in front of me had no problem making it around the curve in the road by not my car. The tires are inferior and dangerous. A neighbor of mine who also bought a Rogue around the same time that I did on my recommendaton)and told me that he had a few near misses. It is apparent that Marlborough Nissan and/or Nissan corporate is looking to save money on their tires and will continue to put these inferior tires on their cars until someone is badly hurt or liled in an accident and files a lawsuit. Looking back now after six months of ownership I would not recommend buying a car at Marborough Nissan and purchasing a Rogue specifically. More
Greg, my salesperson was very informative and easy to deal with. He was able to give me a very good idea about the deal I was looking for on the 2008 Sentra and what I could expect to receive for my trad deal with. I had gone to other dealerships in the area who had promised me one thing in their emails and then tried to offer me something completely different once I arrived at the dealership. The thing I liked most about the dealership was that Greg was my salesperson from the emails to the actual deal. A lot of other dealerships have you email an internet sales manager who has nothing to do with the actual sale once you arrive at the dealer. The staff at Marlboro are very friendly and easy to deal with and they make the car buying experience very pleasant and surprisingly quick. I would definitely recommend Marlboro Nissan to anyone I know who is in the market for a Nissan. I travelled a half hour in the wrong direction during a snow storm on New Years Eve, so that I could buy a car from this dealership, that is how comfortable and confident I felt with Marlboro Nissan. I had an appointment to come take a look at a car on a Saturday at noon. It had happened to snow the night before, and for much of the morning, but I still made the long trek down from Dover, NH (50+ mil Saturday at noon. It had happened to snow the night before, and for much of the morning, but I still made the long trek down from Dover, NH (50+ miles) - braving the adverse driving conditions - to make good on the appointment and, hopefully, purchase a used vehicle. Upon getting to the dealership, an individual (not sure who it was) quickly dismissed my presence saying that I was not able to walk the lot... some kind of liability issue for them as they were clearing some of the snow that had fallen. Fair enough. I informed the individual that I actually had an appointment to check out one of their used cars. However, upon checking, the person informed me that, actually, the Parts Manager had borrowed the car I was scheduled to look at over the weekend on account of the weather. The poor guy apparently had a Nissan Maxima and couldn't brave the weather (whereas I had just made the trip in a Civic Si that morning). The individual "helping" me informed me there was nothing he could do. He didn't offer to allow me inside, didn't offer to call the Parts Manger, nothing. He actually had the nerve to exclaim - "If we had known you were coming, we could have avoided this" - to which I replied, you did know - I had an appointment. He didn't have a response for that, and essentially sent us on our way - back to NH, back through the snow, empty handed. Obviously, my experience with Marlboro Nissan was very negative. The associate I spoke with was rude and apathetic... It goes without saying the dealership clearly lacks communication, organization, and a customer-first attitude. I would strongly recommend NOT wasting your time with this dealership, I know I never will again. More

I found this dealer thru a friend's recommendation, I actually drove almost 50 miles to buy this car( worth every mile). The best thing about this dealer, besides its price, is certainly the Customer Service. I was pretty amazed when the Sales manager Dan Hedin came out to greet me, once I walked into the parking lot towards the service area, a month after I bought my car. I had a tire pressure light going on non stop, and I was not very happy about it. When I explained the situation, he promptly solve the problem in less than 20 min.
