I had a flat tire and Markley's service guys were immediate in their response, and took my car right in. The wait time was reasonable. All in all, the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, concerned, and never ever condescending (I have been treated condescendingly in other auto repair facilities). Kody and I discussed my service needs the night before as I left the car. He fully understood the problems I had with the car. Excellent service on a Honda recall issue! The dealer called me to set up the appointment, completed the repair in record time (an hour earlier than I expected), gave me a comfortable ride home, and were called me to set up the appointment, completed the repair in record time (an hour earlier than I expected), gave me a comfortable ride home, and were friendly and efficient as they always are at Markley Motors. I have been a customer for 11 years and purchased 4 vehicles from Markley. All have been great, but it has been the service after that really brings me back. Luckily, I ran into Gary Ihle before I entered the Honda office building. He not only listened to what I had to say (which was that I had already done extensive internet research on several car brands/make office building. He not only listened to what I had to say (which was that I had already done extensive internet research on several car brands/makes/models and that I knew exactly what I wanted), but he was very helpful asking appropriate questions to make sure I was aware of all aspects of the car. We went for a test drive in a Fit. Again, he was low key and let me have my “thinking” space as I drove. Afterwards, I spent a few days making a final decision and when I contacted Gary for the purchase, he was categorically responsive to my requests and he found a way to make it work for me. When I arrived at the dealership the next day to make the purchase, he was well prepared and ready for me. I’ve never experienced such an easy, quick, flowing transaction of this level in my life. Both Gary and the financial staff member were professional, kind, courteous and respectful. Gary made sure I was never kept waiting or ‘alone’; as soon as the financial staff member and I completed our business, Gary was right there to lead me into the next step. If there were ‘grades’ to be given to Gary, he deserves an A+++ on his ‘report card’ for professionalism, courtesy, respect, and knowledge of his specific responsibilities to me, the purchaser, and knowledge of the vehicle that I bought. His candor was refreshing and unexpected. If I had the funds, I buy another car from him in a heartbeat and donate it to charity. I’m very pleased that Gary was “my guy” during this transaction. I’ve already recommended Gary to others and I look forward to a long relationship with Markley Motors because of Gary. More
I previously purchased an Allstate Service Contract after purchasing my used Pilot, and they gave me a hard time when Honda recommended the proper service that my Pilot needed. After many heated phone calls purchasing my used Pilot, and they gave me a hard time when Honda recommended the proper service that my Pilot needed. After many heated phone calls with Allstate, we were able to compromise with Allstate to "fix the problem". Markley Motors' associates were wonderful through the entire debacle! I would not recommend Allstate, but would highly recommend Markley Motors :) More
Set up my oil change on line. Love the clean garage to pull into. Quick, solid service. Called later during the day to see if I wanted the alignment- I did. When I picked up the car, I was asked if I had an oil punch card. I did- it wasn't entered in the computer ...so I was grateful to be asked again, instead of charged. Perhaps the only bummer was that the free carwash didn't really get all of the junk off of my car. Otherwise- everything was great. More
