I was expecting to buy the SUV as is and was very pleased that, upon noticing the speedometer did not work, the dealership replaced the whole instrument panel. Fair Trade and Purchase I felt like they weren't trying to cheat me on my trade-in like other dealers and they were very flexible with my requests on the used car purchase. Service dept/mechanics need training The "Mechanics" told me my breaks were locking up, so I paid for new breaks, I went to leave the service bay and it did the same thing I took it in fo The "Mechanics" told me my breaks were locking up, so I paid for new breaks, I went to leave the service bay and it did the same thing I took it in for. Things out it was the drive train belt. They changed the belt but failed to look at the tensioner mechanism. I had an extended warranty in place at that time and it is my understanding that it might have been covered. So in a year the belt has been replaced twice. One of the people i spoke with said that the starter was basically powering my car. Now my concern is that the starter will go bad and I will have to replace that too. I called to talk to the general manager, and the general manager basically told me he didn't care and rushed me off the phone. I am very disappointed as this is the Chevrolet dealer closest to my home and I prefer to support my local community business. My father worked for General Motors for more than 20 years so I am very loyal to the Chevrolet brand, so I will search for another dealer. Unless there is some form of change with the service department, I'm not hopeful that will be there long More
