Extremely Satisfied and Impressed My wife and I were looking for a 2014 or newer Chevy Cruze LS at Joe Firment Chevrolet. Tracy Arendt was our sales person. She knew our criteria and My wife and I were looking for a 2014 or newer Chevy Cruze LS at Joe Firment Chevrolet. Tracy Arendt was our sales person. She knew our criteria and had just received a 2015 Chevy Cruze LS in off a lease and it was priced so that when we traded in our car we had no money down. We needed to have cruise control (which the car didn't have) and two front tires. Tracy said that that would be taken care of at no cost to us. We financed it with our bank and after we signed all the papers at the bank the remainder was handled between Tracy and the bank. When we went to pick up the car Tracy again showed us all the features that the car had and as promised new front tires and cruise control and the car had been fully detailed. We drove it home and my wife later ran an errand across town and upon returning home, at a stop light, experienced a lurching car and then it stalled. She managed to get home and told me to check it out. I got in the car, started it up, put in drive and the car violently lurched in drive and reverse and the check engine light was on. I called Tracy and she apologized and said "bring it in right away." She met me at the Dealership door (even thought she had a client at her desk), took the key from me and immediately pulled it into the garage and was discussing the issue with the repair manager. Once the repair was done she explained the problem and subsequent repair to me and said if I had any other problem(s) call her and she would take care of it/them. Through the entire purchase process Tracy was professional, very through in explaining the process and very attentive to our needs. She made the experience of buying a car very pleasurable. We were definitely very impressed with how she handled us and our perceived crises that we may have bought a lemon, which as it turns out is not the case. Joe Firment personally engaged us as we waited for final bank approval (for a pre-approved loan) and later, a frustrat Talk about stress-free? Indeed. Joe Firment personally engaged us as we waited for final bank approval (for a pre-approved loan) and later, a frustrating experience with the insurance company who bumped the on-line quoted monthly rate by $360 per year at the last moment. Next day, the insurance company informed us they had made a mistake and refunded the $360 overcharge. Nice to find the on-line quote was correct the first time with the only hassles not the fault of the dealership. THE POINT IS: The Firment folks exhibited extraordinary patience and consideration for several hours as two seniors were buying a used car. Our foot soldier sales guy, James Wood, with little help from us, even volunteered to move our messy trunk stuff to the "new" car. If I happened to be buying an $80,000 Corvette, I cannot imagine better consideration and that feeling of being special. Firment knows how to treat customers -- like family. More
