South towne scheduled my appt. I do not recommend SouthTown but MidTown is amazing very kind and the only Subaru dealership I will go to. Thank you More
Taking my Forester to Mark Miller Midtown is not an option—it’s the only place I would consider. Buying the Forester there and all the excellent care it gets there is topline. Been to the service department 3 times, and all 3 times have been disappointed. First was a regular service, and after the service was performed, the oil filter leaked. Went back twice to get it resolved. have been disappointed. First was a regular service, and after the service was performed, the oil filter leaked. Went back twice to get it resolved. Took an inordinate amount of time, and I was told several times that it would be "about another 20 minutes"; turned out to be over an hour. The service advisor told me that the problem was due to a faulty filter, and that they were seeing about one per week. If that is the case, why not get rid of that batch, and get some new ones. Also, most places when you go in for a service, they top of all the fluids, including the windshield washer fluid--not here, despite being asked about it twice, and being assured that they would top of the fluids. Second interaction was to determine a problem with the car not starting after it had been driven to the grocery store. I called, explained the problem, and got an appointment for a week later. When I got to the service department (this is on a Saturday) I was informed that they could do a battery check, and I would need to go thru the express line. Told the service tech that the battery wasn't the problem and explained what had happened. Said they would have someone call me to schedule an appointment. And, no, they couldn't check to see if there was any kind of code that it had thrown. Not satisfied with the service department at all. More
