While this dealership may have quality cars, poor communication and severe lack of responsiveness makes me question the overall business practices here. The poor communication has truly been an issue throughout my entire car buying process; something that should have been made even more simple due to the fact that I secured financing prior to engaging with this dealership. No one seems to communicate with one another on site, I was bounced around via telephone to my initial salesman (Edgar) and spoke to a number of other staff (Adam, Danielle, Blake, someone in service) I honestly lost count after awhile because the confusion and miscommunication was rampant. I would get robo-emails with no name, a general text where apparently anyone on staff can and does initiate conversation - and thats if you can ever get someone on the phone. Regarding a mandated package purchase, every other package has relevant documentation regarding the service paid for and how to utilize it e.g., LoJack, Key Replacement; however, their tint warranty has no documentation what so ever and is essentially a smoke screen for fraudulent charges. I made an out-of-state purchase from this dealership on 24 May 2023. At first things were going well during negotiations and when the salesman (Edgar) was initially trying to secure a deal - communication was frequent and easily had. I had many questions that were answered; however, one of the “mandatory” packages (the Tint warranty) I was made to purchase gave me pause due to differing tint laws between Arizona and the state I reside. Nonetheless, I was informed that the warranty would be valid in my state and I would have no issues using it if and when needed. As predicted, I had to remove the original tint that came with the car for state inspection and registration purposes (out of state inspections are not valid); I thought, no issue since I have the tint warranty… WRONG? (Maybe?) - see that’s the problem - I can’t get a response from anyone at the dealership regarding this matter. I reached out to Sterling in financing (who generally has been the most responsive and helpful during my entire process) regarding this on 06 June 2023 and he informed me that he would check in with the service department about how to handle this on 12 June 2023. I didn't receive a response until I reached out again on 20 June 2023 on which he informed me that he would send my inquiry to a sales manager. I have yet to receive any communication from the sales team. I contacted the service department on 30 June 2023 and was informed that to the agent's knowledge sales handles these matters and that he believes that only the service department handles tinting at this particular dealer; this would present a problem for me as I reside in Maryland. The representative told me he would forward my message to the sales team and that I should expect a call back. I have yet to receive such returned contact. On 03 July 2023, I contacted General Sales Manager Blake Mahaffey to inquire how best to proceed with handling the tint warranty claim asking if it possible to be reimbursed for the tint work done here in my state or if it possible to be refunded the $799 for the tint warranty purchase if such reimbursement is not available. I again contacted the dealership on 06 July 2023 and was told no one was available to speak and that the only manager on duty was away at the moment and would get back to me. To date, I have had no returned contact from any representative here. Per my bank, the next step is to file a claim; take my advice and stay clear of Mark Mazda. More
Absolutely awful. Kyle in finance lied multiple times. We provided an authorization code for the bank we wanted our loan through, he chose a different bank. Horrible communication, zero customer service skills, rude, and over all doesn’t give a crap about his customers. Danielle seemed nice at first but I could tell her personality was fake and she was going to try to pull a fast one. Sure enough, she did. We asked twice if the price was the final price after tax/fees etc. she said yes that’s the total. Then we went over other things (assuming the tint warranty etc was included in that price) and nope, all that was extra coast and was NEVER mentioned. Thankfully we caught on to it and denied it all. The process took over 6 hours. We had our 1 year old with us as well. We knew exactly what car we wanted when we got there (had an appointment and everything). There was no reason for it to take that long. I will leave a review on every single website/page I can find. Horrible people, shame on them. More

First time car buyer and man was this a horrible experience.. I wanted to get myself something nice and build my credit score even better but these people suck. As soon as I gave them my down paymen experience.. I wanted to get myself something nice and build my credit score even better but these people suck. As soon as I gave them my down payment and signed the contract they moved on and completely ignored every other question I had. I had some important questions but nobody at this place cared at all once they got my down payment. Not to mention they took over a week to give me any paperwork I signed. I had asked if they could do a bit better of a price because I believed the vehicle was pretty overpriced and they said they could do a discount for me, come to find out they didn’t even give me any discount!! I was super fed up and just said screw it, I was tired of going back and forth with these people. They also snuck in multiple unnecessary extra charges on the contract such as a $800 LoJack service, $800 tint which wasn’t even good tint, and a Continental extended warranty along with some other BS charges. I actually ended up cancelling the warranty because it was a really bad warranty after doing some research especially for $2600. After I finally got the car I noticed that they didn’t even give it a detail like they promised!!! There was dirt marks all over the upholstery and door. I had specifically asked if they were cleanable marks… then they promised they would give the vehicle a full detail/wash before I get it. Complete BS they didn’t clean it at all!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU WILL BE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I wish I had looked at their reviews a bit more before I pulled the trigger on a vehicle from them. They’re all liars/scammers especially Sterling, AJ, and Kevin. AVOID those 3 at ALL costs!!!! They just want your money they don’t care about giving you a decent vehicle/deal. I will never shop here again that’s for sure. But like they say you live, you learn… More
