We bought at Mark KIA and rate them WAY above par because of salesman Ciaran O'Murchu. He acted not just as a salesman but also as an advocate for the customer. We walked out of there feeling respected, and the process of buying was a dignified one. We got a fair price too. We've all dealt with salespeople who act like they want to provide outstanding customer service, but are in fact only interested in making the sale. Mr. O'Murchu actually DID care and illustrated it as follows: (1) He followed through completely from our 'just looking' to buying THAT night. We did not intend to buy on the spot. (2) He answered all questions, was patient, never pushy, and was respectful that it's big decision for a consumer to buy a car. (3) His follow through is unbelievable. The car we wanted had to be located in another state. He made sure we understood the process, kept us informed along the way. (4) He sat down with us, gave us a packet with all the warranty, specs, etc, even suggested we keep the dealer invoice sticker (which he had neatly placed in this packet for us) in case we ever decided to sell it. (5) We wanted tinting, paid for it, and when the car arrived it seemed the rear windows didn't have it. He had MARK KIA service department do it and there was no question of an 'extra charge.' (6) He made sure we did a complete inspection of the car and had a checklist that we went over line-by-line and signed off on. Again, that never occurred anywhere else we bought a car. (7) After the sale, he contacted us to see how we liked the car, were there any issues, etc. One option that we expected was missing (the Sportage drivers seat did not come with BOTH cooling and heating apparatus) so he tracked it down, spoke to his Mgr (Chuck) who called me; and they, with their GM (Joshua Spencer) took great care of us. Painless. Amazing. No BS. (8) From my first call to MARK KIA we were treated with respect. The Finance Manager (Chuck) was exceptional as well. He went over the contract with us line by line, explained extended warranties etc but did not push them on us. As a result we got the extended warranty, and interior/exterior (including paint fading) protection. When we hesitated at the "protection package" price he said he understood, then offered it to us at cost. OVERVIEW: We love our KIA SPORTAGE. It is a terrific deal. Similar (not even as nice) options on comparable cars cost at least 5k more. Buying at MARK KIA was a stress free, up front process thanks to salesman Ciaran O'Murchu and his team. Prior to contacting MARK KIA we'd researched exactly what we needed. TEMPE KIA said they could get us what we wanted then gave us a 3 wk runaround. They misled (I could use a stronger word) us about the availability of the car we wanted. We wasted three weeks. TEMPE KIA wanted to sell us what we didn't want and were trying to wear us down. The salesman there was very nice and helpful but his superiors were arrogant and uninterested in helping him make the sale to us. They treated their own salesman badly. I would recommend this dealership to other people. I would also recommend Kia vehicles as they have great value, are well made, and the warranty is outstanding. I bought a Kia Forte 5 door with sunroof,cruise, and a auto transmission. I have only had 2 days, but it drives very nice,tight steering,good braking,and decent acceleration. Very good looking car. The dealership seemed to be up front and honest, unlike some other car buying experiances i have had with Ford & Dodge dealerships. More
We stopped by Mark Kia (Scottsdale) on 3/13/11 to look at the new 2011 Kia Optima. Test drove the vehicle and was very impressed with it. Our sales associates, Pat Flynn and Matt Bruno, were very friendly the new 2011 Kia Optima. Test drove the vehicle and was very impressed with it. Our sales associates, Pat Flynn and Matt Bruno, were very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions about the vehicle. There was no sales pressure by either Pat or Matt. Both individuals were very easy to talk to as we decided what vehicle and options would work best for us. Eric Nordstrom (sales manager) went to great lengths to work with us in arriving at a sales price that we were comfortable with. We took delivery of our new Optima on the following day and are very happy with the vehicle. We had a great experience in buying our new car from Mark Kia in Scottsdale, AZ. More

Dublin made us feel so comfortable, I feel like we have been friends for years. He was not pushy with us, he was relaxed and composed which in turn made it an enjoyable "new car buying process". My communication did not end with Dublin that day, I had to have the bumper on my new car repainted and the work was completed within a week. Dublin called me to check and make sure everything had been taken care of. I don't feel like I was just a customer on 1 day. I feel like Dublin will always help me if I need something. Chuck was nice and friendly. He also explained the warranty and some other things so well, it made me feel comfortable with the processes and also educated.
