Ciaran was an amazing salesman. He was very down to earth and was very clear about going over the features of my car. My girlfriend and I went to this dealer to look at a New Kia Soul, as they had some great advertised prices online. From the start Abdul wanted to push us into a 2012 Kia Soul + or !, with may items and fe Kia Soul, as they had some great advertised prices online. From the start Abdul wanted to push us into a 2012 Kia Soul + or !, with may items and features we didn't want or need on our new car. After almost 2 hours of relentless upselling, we found the car we would be willing to purchase at a price that seemed to be alright at best, and it was into the showroom for the paperwork side of the deal. I'd already pre qualified with another manufacturer for 2.9% on a 72 month loan so I was confident there would be no issues at Kia. The paperwork was filled out Abdul went off to run my credit, after 40 minutes waiting, he came back and told us that my credit score was terrible and without at least $6000 down I couldn't get a new Soul, but that he could get me into a 2009 Mazda 6 with 45,000 miles on it for only $494.18 a month for 60 months with only $3000 down (I'm not great at math but let's be reasonable, 494.18 x 60 = 29,650.80 + $3000 = $32,650.80). So the dealer couldn't get financing on a 2012 Soul for $19,208 plus interest with $3000 down (So financing about $16,200) but the bank would do a 3 year old Mazda with 45,000 miles with (it took my walking to the finance managers office demanding the information), 23.65% interest. Utterly disguised, we left Mark Kia and went to Chapman Ford. Ford being who had previously pre-approved me for credit, looked at my credit again, stated my score went down a little since I moved to AZ (probably from all the inquiries setting up my utilities and such in AZ), they couldn't give me the 2.9% I was originally pre-approved for, on a 72 month loan, but that they could certainly do the deal at 4.9% with $0 out of my pocket, just show them my proof of insurance, sign on the line and enjoy my 2012 Ford Fiesta SES (fully loaded, unlike the mostly-stripped Kia), the best part is a $22,800 Ford Fiesta SES with added window tinting, satellite recovery and extended protection is $418.19 or $30,109.68 over the life of the loan. The tinting, recovery system and protection were over $1000 alone, so in reality I'm only paying about $7100 in interest on a new car with $0! My honest opinion stay away from this dealer! More

First of all this was one of the best hassle free car buying experience that I have ever had. I would highly recommend my friends and family to go to Mark Kia, but to make it worth while they need to de buying experience that I have ever had. Wife and I bought a new 2011 Kia Optima EX last May from Mark Kia in Scottsdale. We feel like we got the best deal available on this beautiful car and at that time they were the hardest vehicle to get your Mark Kia in Scottsdale. Almost a year later we've asked each other if we had to buy another car right now would we still choose a Kia Optima, and the resounding answer is an absolute "YES". I just had the cars second oil change completed a couple days ago and I feel like the service department at Mark Kia must be the best kept secret in car maintenance. No lines at the service check in and Jose Gandara the service adviser was very friendly, attentive, and thorough in checking in my car to make sure everything was going to get done that we needed. The service reps changed the oil and rotated the tires for us and also performed an additional 27 point inspection at no charge. We also elected to have the cabin filter changed to help keep the air conditioner from getting that musty smell upon starting up the car. My wife especially appreciated that seeing as we are now running the air conditioner more often due to it warming up here in AZ. The service was performed pretty quickly and there was even a nice customer lounge for me to wait in while my car was getting serviced. Hey and they have free popcorn to snack on while you wait. I used to hate going to car dealerships for service, I always felt like all they cared about in the end was how much money they could extract from my wallet........Can't say I miss that feeling at the service center at Mark Kia! Literally everybody we came in contact with were extremely polite, very positive attitudes, and a strong comittment to provide help and assistance. I would like to specifically mention two people wh extremely polite, very positive attitudes, and a strong comittment to provide help and assistance. I would like to specifically mention two people who really went the extra distance in providing "world class" customer service. Tyler Romney lead us trough the sales process extremely efficiently without any drama that resulted in a terrific deal for us. After the sale, Tyler invested nearly two hours of instruction to Charlene on how to operate the vehicle and more importantly, how to use the terrific technology contained in the Optima. In the 43 years we have purchased vehicles (two car family), trading in all cars within 1 to 4 years, literally all other sales people have spent from zero to a maximum of 20 minutes of instruction on how to operate the vehicle. The other person we want to recognize is Miranda Ketner, she went the distance in making arrangements for our visit to the dealership and while at the dealership she made herself visable and available to provide any help or assistance during the space of time the paperwork was being prepared and the vehicle was being prepared for delivery. A few days after we took possession of the vehicle we contacted Miranda to schedule the window tinting as Tyler was not in the office as his work schedule started later in the day. Within 15 minutes of our call she called and confirmed an appointment that perfectly fit our schedule plus she informed Tyler that we would be coming in. This lady thrives on customer service and customer relations. Mark Kia has a terrific organization and a terrific products and I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future and would very highly recommend this dealership and the high quality products and services they offer. Called dealership regarding $6,000 minimum trade-in on any car as I had 2 daughters in college - one of whom desperately needed to get out of the 1993 "whooptie" she was driving. The process was explained to me, and an appointment was set for the following Sunday (the only day both girls could get off work in Flagstaff, where they go to NAU). The salesperson I was to work with was called out of town for an emergency, and before I ever even left the house, I got an e-mail from the dealership letting me know this and letting me know the name of the alternate salesperson -'Dublin' O'Murchu. Dublin then called me to introduce himself and assure me that we would still be well taken care of. To say we were care for was an understatement. My daughters are 20 and 21, so let's face it, financing was going to be an issue. I could not co-sign for them, so it was on the dealership's shoulders to get this deal through and get my daughters in quality, affordable new cars....ones that could be paid (or almost paid) before they got out of school, so that when they entered the workforce, they had reliable, PAID-FOR transportation and could concentrate on repaying student loans. Long story short, they got it done...and it was a long story. Dublin even called in the 'big boss' of financing - who left his one day off at the golf course - and stayed until 9:30 that night to get this deal done. In the meantime, Dublin made sure the girls understood their cars, their maintenance schedules, their warranties....everything! I can't thank everyone enough, and it was WELL worth a drive over from Surprise! More
