Upset... I have purchased 3 vehicles through Mark Kia. The reason why we went back to Mark Kia was because of Service and Quality. When taking in our vehicle for service we accidentally pushed wipers. When arriving we were told that they are not covered right away. So what does bumper to bumper do? Also we purchased a better grade care package. That cost us good money!! So basically I have spent thousands of dollars for you to tell me that you can not replace wiper blades that cost you what maybe a 1 or 2????? We found this out by accident...Remeber it was accidentally pushed. You may have just lost yourselves loyal customers over 2 bucks... I am upset at what I have purchased versus what I have been given.... More
Poor Communication and Customer Service Received a Cars.com offer for our 2017 Ram 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 Laramie. Was contacted by buyer Andie and expressed my husband’s concerns with selling to Received a Cars.com offer for our 2017 Ram 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 Laramie. Was contacted by buyer Andie and expressed my husband’s concerns with selling to a dealer. After finally convincing my husband I let Andie know we would be heading down to make the deal in a few days. I made sure to send copious photos of the truck as we live in Northern Arizona - not close to Mark Kia at all. Confirmed two days prior with Andie, everything was ready to ensure there would be no issues for my husband. I was working late and he would have 4 kiddos. To this point, I was proud of me for being proactive and getting everything squared away. Bad news, it was not a straight forward process. Extremely poor customer service and a manger - Michael who refused to honor the offer made. Why? There are 2 open Ram recalls. Super funny I know that, I’m not in the auto industry and found that information. You know how? With the VIN. The same VIN that resulted in the offer made to us. My husband was less than pleased (understatement) So instead of supporting a smaller locally owned dealership we’re headed to CarMax. I can’t beleive it, what a colossal waste of a lot of people’s time. A lost opportunity to gain a long time and loyal customer. I’m working on becoming a partner in a practice - funny how customer service and communication lessons are valuable no matter your industry. To be fair I did reach out to Andie and Michael. I promised an honest review and expressed my disappointment. I was told the general manager would be contacted. Too little, too late. Overall poor communication and service. More

A/C repair of Kia Optima A/C was blowing warm air. Had Mark Kia do testing; they found a leak in a line that needed replacement. Because of leak, Freon was nearly gone. They r A/C was blowing warm air. Had Mark Kia do testing; they found a leak in a line that needed replacement. Because of leak, Freon was nearly gone. They replaced line, filled Freon & replaced A/C filter. A/C now works GREAT!! Tyler was my service advisor & did a great job! More
Bait and switch I was ready to buy a car. I had done my research, had checkbook in hand and was ready to make the deal. I called Mark Kia and talked to Jose in the in I was ready to buy a car. I had done my research, had checkbook in hand and was ready to make the deal. I called Mark Kia and talked to Jose in the internet department and provided the stock number from their website for the car I was interested in. He politely told me it was in stock so I drove four cities over to go get the car. Thirty minutes later, when I arrived at the dealership, Jose showed me a similar, but different car than the one I inquired about. He told me they just sent my car out for a dealer trade. They completely wasted my time and gas driving all the way out there for something they didn't have. The sales manager came out and apologized about the situation, but that's completely unacceptable to outright lie about the status of a car, just to get me down to the dealership. If they legitimately did make the dealer trade, I should have been called, but was not. I'm very disappointed in Mark Kia and will not be doing any future sales or service business with them due to this experience. I did end up buying another car in the right color, equipped the way I wanted, from another Kia dealership that night. More
Shady sales tactics and overpriced I worked with a young kid who seemed friendly at first until we sat down to talk numbers. Either way, I wasn't willing to pay $28k out the door for a new Kia Niro LX that is less than $23k msrp. He had to go talk to his manager to work the #s until the manager finally came over. I had also given my keys for his manager to take a further peek at my car. You could tell he was all about pressure sales and would just change the monthly payment amount but not the end price. I knew I wasn't getting a deal when they could offer me kbb price for my trade-in. After at least 30 mins I had asked for my keys back multiple times, which they kept hesitating to give back to me. When I finally got them back I told them I had to run to the bank. Come to find out, they not only took my car for a drive without my consent but moved it so I couldn't leave. That was the last straw for me as I will not be forced to by a car by these sketchy sales tactics. When I finally got someone to help me track my car down, I just left as I was so done with those people. Worst part, I just checked my credit and noticed they ran a hard inquiry when I didn't authorize it and was informed none would be run, stay away from these guys! I went to Tempe Kia a couple hours later that had much better service and better price too. Tip: Don't buy GAP insurance or the extended warranty from dealers, they are overpriced and both can be shopped around for later. More
