I have been buying vehicles for over 40 years and have never spent so much time WAITING. It's better to just show up there than try telling them online what you want and then setting up an appointment (w never spent so much time WAITING. I picked out what I wanted online and was called and told they had several of them. Once I finally got to see them none of them matched what I told them I was looking for. I spent at least another 30 minutes WAITING while he tried to run down his manager and get a quote for the truck I wanted only to have him come back with a price for one that was already on the lot. What a waste of my time. More
A couple of weeks ago, I had a great experience when I went to Mark Jacobson. I was looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle and the service that I received on that day was and still is awesome! After visiting three or four other dealerships, I was informed about Mark Jacobson. Compared to other dealerships that I had visited, Rashanda McCants and her manager, Darius worked with me and I felt that they really worked for me. Ms. McCants was awesome. She was a very patient salesperson, knew her information for the vehicles that she presented to me and most of all she was not pushy for a sale with the "you have to get it now because it may not be here when you come back" or "I don't know how long I can hold this deal for you" pitch! After being at the dealership for some hours and test driving vehicles in the nasty, stormy weather that day, I did not purchase a vehicle. A couple of days later Rashanda contacted me sparking my interest to do business with this dealership because she CARED about me as a "customer" and not a "commission". Mark Jacobson is still working with me and they have shown me quality vehicles from new to pre-owned. Their prices are comparable and even better than some other dealerships that I had visited. If you are like me and care about quality service, this is the place, and Rashanda is the salesperson! More
My experience with Mark Jacobson started back in Sept'13, when I walked into the dealership one Saturday afternoon and was greeted at the door by Mark Eskew. Mark was warm and friendly and had a pleasant personality. Even though I was up front with him from the start that I was only looking at cars, we spent 3-4 hours together in trying to determine on what my immediate needs were with respect to what model I was looking at, including price and options. I promised him I would be back and I kept my promise. He followed back up on one or two occasions, but there was no pressure; just genuine interest on how I was doing and if there were any additional questions that I might have had from our meeting. On 12/21/13, I puchased a new RAV 4. Over the past several months, I went to other dealers and drove other models, but it was because of Mark's salesmanship on the quality and reliability of Toyota that I returned to Mark Jacobson. Owning a previous Toyota for 17 yrs might have had a little impact on my decision, but the bottom line was because of Mark. Now onto the purchase experience. It was easy, convenient, and pleasant as well. Not only did Mark work hard with the team to meet my financial needs, but also took time to show me all of the bells and whistles and "fluff" (side joke) of my new car. After a horrendous motor vehicle accident I found myself in need of transportation. I spent countless hours of research online of various makes, models, years, and dealerships (even all the way in Winston-S in need of transportation. I spent countless hours of research online of various makes, models, years, and dealerships (even all the way in Winston-Salem!) until I came across Mark Jacobson Toyota. I filled out the online forms for the various cars I was interested in that they had an inventory of. The online tools were a great asset and I intended to take full advantage of them. I was put in contact with Jeremy Bass. We had numerous conversations over email and he was very patient and cordial with me. I made a visit to the dealership with the family in tow and Jeremy showed us some used vehicles as well as new. There was no pressure to buy on the spot, which I was thankful for. I became very interested in one model I looked at that I had previously researched online but I wanted just a little more time to think it over. Jeremy was very helpful in giving me information about the various warranties available at the dealership. I must say, the limited lifetime powertrain warranty of some of their used cars is worth going to this dealership, as I have not found this anywhere else. After a week of mulling things over, in addition to test driving and looking at other dealerships, I knew no other dealership would be able to offer me what Jeremy could. So, I went back to meet with Jeremy and made one more pass at their used car inventory. I am glad I did. I test drove one more vehicle and fell in love with the car. It was a perfect fit for me, even more so than the model I had thought for a week on! Throughout the paperwork process Jeremy kept me informed. He is very personable and informative (we also shared a few laughs while we both waited) and I had the best time in buying the car! Once the car was purchased, I had the conundrum of how to get it home, as I was alone and had gotten there in a rental. No worries though, as Jeremy came to my rescue and drove it home for me! Being the first time I have bought a nearly new car, I was nervous, but Jeremy was with me 100% of the way. I highly recommend Mark Jacobson Toyota. It is my dealership of choice now, and should be yours too! Ask for Jeremy Bass and you will receive top notch customer service that goes above and beyond! More
