She has an easy going and professional demeanor that made me feel very comfortable. She took her time in explaining every piece of paperwork and options available to me. I haven't bought a car in years and was a little skeptical about how I would be treated. I don't like the feeling of being "sold" to. Exceeded Expectations After visiting another Toyota dealership in the Raleigh-Durham area and when they did not honor what their internet representative told me on the phon After visiting another Toyota dealership in the Raleigh-Durham area and when they did not honor what their internet representative told me on the phone ("we will match any offer"), we (with my wife and daughter) arrived at the Mark Jacobson dealership a half hour before normal closing time. We were met by a tired Leo Sullivan who had worked the previous evening until midnight. But as soon as we found the Corolla we liked, Leo came to life and did a yeoman's job. He got his sales manager to honor a price that was given to me over the phone by another Jacobson salesman. After that he helped worked through the unusual financing arrangements with my daughter's credit union. He exceeded our expectations even though he wasn't assured he would get credit for the sale (We initially asked for the salesman that I had previous telephone conversations with, but he was unavailable. It appears it's common practice that when a customer requests a salesman, that person gets the credit even if he/she did not close the sale). Getting all the paperwork done took about 2 hours. During that time the sales manager ordered pizza for his employees and customers that were still lingering at the dealership. Around 11:20 pm that evening, my daughter drove away with a new 2015 Corolla. Thanks to Leo, Luke (sales mgr), David (salesman that I talked to over the phone), and the rest of the Mark Jacobson staff for a rewarding car buying experience. More
