Mark CDJR is one of the best dealers from whom I have purchased. My son ordered a Ram 3500 and the transaction was flawless from order to delivery. I purchased a Challenger Hellcat and had a significant issue. The sales manager immediately resolved the problem to my satisfaction. In April I ordered a Challenger Demon 170. This is a very limited production vehicle that most dealers were gouging their customers at purchase. I took delivery of my Demon on Dec 18 for my order price after Dodge put two price increases on the car. Everyone involved from order to delivery were excellent. Bill, Anthony and Aaron were professional & responsive through a long wait for the car. I live over 1300 miles from Lake Charles and they make your purchase worth the distance. More

When the truck was ready I traveled from Miami to Lake Charles where the dealer is to drive the truck back. I want to especially thank Mr. Marsh Buice who took care of the entire purchasing process. He was very nice, respectful and professional, I didn't feel any pressure and the entire paperwork process was done online without problem and effectively. When I got to the dealer, the truck was ready without any problem. I recommend this dealer 100% and especially Mr. Marsh Buice, whom I thank for having the best car of my life. More
In the family we have now closed two high-engine-powered vehicle deals with Mark Dodge folks even though they are thousands of miles away from us. Here is the upside and some downside with dealing with them. The only reason you would go outside your home dealer network is: Price. They are one of the few large volume CDJR dealers offering good pricing on new orders (which needs you to wait a few months if not longer) and provide decent prices on most CDJR vehicles. Pros: - Pricing - Good Communication - Few upsell bait switch tricks (I will get to this later in cons). - Employees well-trained and accustomed to out of state long distance sales. (well most of them). Cons: - Your service network will be far, so if your vehicle unfortunately turns out to be a lemon or has an issue early on, you will deal with a local dealer who may not be that invested in you since they didn't make the money selling you the vehicle. - Mark Dodge's extended warranty options are subpar and almost scammy. They do not even sell Mopar warranty on Jeep, go figure. They offered us some Safeguard extended warranty ONLY and no other choice. Safeguard is quite a pathetic extended warranty with terrible reviews: Expensive protection plans, Below-average customer reviews, Plans must be purchased through a participating dealership. So we ended up purchasing Mopar extended warranty from a different dealers after taking delivery from Mark Dodge. - Melinda Smith. I do not like naming names but man oh man, she is the weakest link in this dealership experience in BOTH our transactions for Jeep and Ram. She is the "finance" person that you pray hard is not assigned to you when your vehicle arrives and she belongs in a museum. Greatly misinformed, kindergarten teacher like and peddles hogwash at the speed of gospel. So we waited almost 6 months for our TRX to be built and arrive with not much notice of it being delivered to the dealership and as soon as the truck arrived the dealership, Ms. Smith gets hold of you and tries to "close the deal" at the 0-60 mph in 2 days. This is a 90,000$ truck that I need time to line up financing and think through my warranty and other options but she will hound you daily to sign, close on documents as if giving us a week to review our financing and warranty options is too much for a product that we waited 6 months for. My banker told me, it may be because they probably have interest accumulating on inventory so they have this Boy Scouts teacher like half baked clerk (who works remotely) and rushes you through things. I repeatedly asked her for other options on our TRX and the Jeep and both times it was the same sub-standard extended warranty or nothing. Same for GAP insurance, no menu, no options, just one that makes them the most margin. I truly wish Mark guys retrain her or hire someone else more competent. Other than her, most folks we dealt with at Mark Dodge were quite wonderful and great to deal with. The other suggestion I would have for the dealer is to give folks a week os two of heads up when the truck ships from the OEM to dealership and send all the financing and warranty and other upselling options THEN and let them review it and NOT after the vehicle is on the lot and you have this woman calling us daily asking us if we have decided on what coverage we want. In summary, a good dealer to save 8-10% on your truck and the the fact that we went twice to them should tell you that the hiccups of dealing with two different dealers for extended warranty and an overly boisterous finance clerk isn't too big a deal as it saves you a pretty penny. We are from a big urban city and these two trucks were toys that we didn't need but wanted to have fun with and the quality of buying experience didn't matter much as we were splurging on wants and not needs; or if you are used to quality polished salesmanship of a Land Rover or Mercedes or another high end auto dealer, you will be hard pressed to find that with any CDJR dealer More

Was dealing online with several Dodge dealers in my area. Since Mark was local I wanted to buy from them. I also had a late model trade in. I asked if they could match a offer from a Houston area dealer and Since Mark was local I wanted to buy from them. I also had a late model trade in. I was turned away from service at 3pm on a weekday, and told I would have to schedule an appointment for the following week. No attempt was made to even verify that my Jeep could not be assessed the same day or the following day or the day after that. I will never purchase another vehicle from Mark Dodge. Gillman or Sterling will get and keep my business. Those dealerships go above and beyond each and every time. More
