On 9-8-25 my car was brought in to the dealership for a check engine light on a number four cylinder misfire code.. I was told I needed a new coil and spark plug. Also, another issue was a transmission ran check engine light on a number four cylinder misfire code.. I was told I needed a new coil and spark plug. Also, another issue was a transmission range selector switch.. total cost would be $2000 . I told them to skip the transmission switch because the car shifted fine . I also told them to skip the spark plugs and only replaced the coil as I only want to get the car running without the check engine light.. that alone was $600. I got a call back from the service department telling me the car would still misfire if I didn’t replace the spark plugs as well as the coil so I gave the go ahead.. after getting the car back on 9-11-25 I saw the check engine light was back again. The engine was running rough, and my car was scanned for codes . The number four cylinder misfire code came up multiple times. There are no codes for the transmission selector switch.. I called the dealership and talked to a service advisor telling them to repair they may didn’t work, and I still had the same problem that the car was taken there originally for.. The service advisor who answered the phone began to argue with me and claim the problem was because of the transmission switch that I opted not to replace. I tried to explain to her this transmissions, which had nothing to do with the problem I’m experiencing. There was a misfire in the engine, and the code was for the same problem that they supposedly fixed.. She continue to argue with me in a condescending way.. she could’ve put on a service manager or somebody who could understand the problem instead of arguing with a customer. The car was running so rough that I had to have it towed to another mechanic who properly diagnosed a problem.. They moved coils and plugs around to see if they could duplicate the problem in a different cylinder.. There was no change on the number four cylinder. It was still throwing codes.. they pulled all the spark plugs and did a compression test found out all the cylinders are low and the number four cylinder was only at 100 psi . It would be a five to $6000 repair or new engine.. I spent $720 at Maritime to replace things that shouldn’t have been replaced. If they had done a proper diagnosis they would’ve seen and needed a new engine and I never would’ve put spark plugs in a coil into a car that needed a new engine and could never pass an emission test because the light would be permanently on. I spent another $183 getting the car diagnosed +2 towa one going in one coming back to my house. . I have been a Maritime customer for the past 12 years even buying my car from them and servicing. I reached out to the dealership and I’ve heard no response back from anyone.. I do not want to hear from a service advisor, I want to hear from a manager of the dealership or the owner. They should be giving me at least a partial refund. But as of yet there has been no contact from the dealership.. I may have to take a further step and get BBB involved More

Went to your store to look for a SUV for me and ended up buying a used Jeep Cherokee for my wife. What a beautiful car - it had everything - my wife of coarse was very happy!!
