Jerry and Jon took me seriously, listening carefully to my concerns and questions and explaining clearly what I needed to understand. They also responded promptly to my text inquiries between visits. Jon was particularly courteous as we worked toward an agreement on a deal. When I came in to purchase the vehicle, Steve patiently and thoroughly went over all the necessary paper work. I was never rushed past where I was in the whole process. As an older, female customer, I especially appreciated how well these gentlemen treated me! More

BUYER BEWARE!! ATTENTION! Before you do business with Marion Toyota, please read about my experience with their sales department and then come to your own conclusion ATTENTION! Before you do business with Marion Toyota, please read about my experience with their sales department and then come to your own conclusions about their integrity as a business. On August 14, 2015, I purchased a used 2010 Mercedes GLK SUV with 66,000 miles from Marion Toyota for $23,147. The vehicle was described to be in a perfect running condition by both the salesperson and on Marion Toyota’s Web site. Marion provided a 3-month, 3,000 mile warranty that covered the powertrain. At no time during the sale did they disclose to me that, prior to the sale, the vehicle had major engine trouble as a result of improper repairs performed by Marion or by a shop summoned by Marion. Last month, after having driven the vehicle just 3,500 miles, the engine began making a grinding noise, so I took it to Hi-Tech Automotive, of St. Peters, Missouri, to diagnose the problem. Hi-Tech disassembled the oil pan and immediately noticed metal shavings in the oil. They advised me there was major internal damage to the engine, and that I would likely have to replace the engine at a cost of $9,000, which I can't afford. On Jan. 16, I reported the problem to my saleswoman at Marion. She stated that before they sold the car to me, $5,000 worth of engine work was done at Plaza Mercedes in Creve Coeur, Missouri, to which she referred me. The advisor at Plaza informed me that Marion Toyota or a shop used by Marion had previously attempted repairs to the vehicle, but they were improper, and Plaza was summoned to correct them. He stated that the flywheel was cracked, and other components were out of adjustment and/or improperly re-installed. Because of the extent of the damage, he stated that Plaza did what they could to correct Marion’s faulty work so that Marion could sell the car, but could not guarantee anything. I made several attempts to speak with Marion’s management about the issue, but they didn't return my calls. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and they responded to the BBB by saying that because I didn't buy their extended warranty at the time of the sale, there was nothing they could do to help, even though I've only driven the car 3,500 miles! However, given the improper repairs and resulting damage to the engine when the vehicle arrived at Plaza, any aftermarket extended warranty Marion Toyota would have sold me would NOT have covered replacement of the engine, as it had a major, pre-existing condition. I have been without transportation now for over a month, and don't have the $9,000 to replace the engine. More

We drove the new 2016 package 4 Prius but decided it was a little too sporty for us so we purchased the new 2016 Prius v. We are very happy with it and we thank Kevin for his patience and knowledge.
