The worst experience I have ever had.. I was in the market to purchase a brand new 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited. I was not able to find the interior (mocha) I wanted. I visited the Naplet I was in the market to purchase a brand new 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited. I was not able to find the interior (mocha) I wanted. I visited the Napleton dealership. Robert Taylor provided great service, but the sales manager blew the sale as he belittle me in the purchasing process. I walked out very disappointed. I called the Marino dealership after my mother had advised me to go there and check out personally their inventory. My family has purchased numerous vehicles at Marino's including when the dealership was owned by Lynch. Orlando answered my phone call and he could not make me happy with the deal he offered. He transferred me to Mike (General Sales Mgr) and he made me a final offer. Mike was professional in the process. I decided to visit the dealership personally to see if there was something else they could do for me. As I parked my car at the dealership, Tim Geller approached me and asked if I needed any help. I told him that I had spoken to Orlando and Mike and wanted to speak to them personally. Tim replied, "Orlando is from our call center and Mike is gone for the day. I could help you." I said sure. Everything was going good until he could not come down on the price of the Pacifica they had available which was a different year and style from which I originally wanted. He introduced me to Pete Babani and unfortunately we could not agree on the price. Then Pete said, "let me show on this other computer how much the Pacifica is worth. I am not supposed to show you, but I'll do it anyways." As we are in a sort of back and forth negotiation, Mel Hanna who happened to be next to Pete on another computer comments, "are you going to let him to talk to you that way Pete?" I looked at Mel Hanna as I don't know who he is and replied, "excuse me, why are you getting involved?" He stated that I should not talk to Pete in the tone of voice and I replied, "this is not your business so stay out of it" At the same time people are murmuring that Mel Hanna is the right hand man of the owner and that I should watch out. I became furious as Mel Hanna continued to get involved trying to defend Pete Babani. I was so disappointed that another dealership was being rude once again and all they wanted was to get my money at any cost. The transaction became a horrible experience for me since I had to argue loudly about the way this process was taking place. I felt very angry and disappointed because I felt that they only care about the money. I visited the dealership the next day with my parents because they had forgotten to provide the $200 referral money to my mother. Also I saw an advertisement from Marino's website in regards to a $50 gift card they provide when you test drive a vehicle. Pete Babani told me that I don't qualify because they made me a deal and purchased the car. So ridiculous, isn't that the point of the $50 gift car. What a horrible experience! My line of work involves financials and trading. I am Regional Manager/Stock Broker at a bank. I have worked previously in the electronic industry for 15+ years ranging from a sales associate all the way to a District Manager. I have worked for retailers such as: Sears, Circuit City, Tweeter, Radioshack, Best Buy..... so as you can see I have a wealth of knowledge in the retail industry. I know how a client/customer should be treated at all times. I understand that retailers are going to drop the ball once in a while, but what you do to alleviate and diffuse any situation is what makes a business flourish in any industry. Unfortunately, the Marino dealership did not meet my standards and expectations. I will have to say that I will not ever return as a prospective buyer in the future. Even though I purchased the car due to the fact that my wife wanted it right away, I will go somewhere else for any issues my new car encounters. I was also interested in replacing my Jeep, but I will see where I go since I do not want to experience this kind of service ever again. More

The vehicle was located in Ohio, so Marino needed a representative from their store to drive out to the trading dealership and drive back to Chicago with our new car. A special shout out to Shane who took 12+ hours out of his day to drive to Ohio and back so my wife and I had our new car in time for our road trip to Iowa this past weekend.
