I contacted the dealership to purchase an Acura MDX--we verbally agreed upon price and terms, the Overall, a miserable and disappointing experience. I contacted the dealership to purchase an Acura MDX--we verbally agreed upon price and terms, the salesman collected all of my personal information and promised to send the sales contract for my signatures. Seven days went by without any contract or calls--I made numerous attempts via phone and text to get an update on the arrival of the contract. Feeling disappointed and SCAMMED, I made 3 attempts to contact the sales manager to discuss. We spoke and he offered a comparable option at the previously agreed upon price, which was an acceptable solution. Five days went by before, receiving a call from the finance manager to review price and term. The agreed upon price went up $1,000. Bottomline, BEWARE of Marin Acura's sales tactics. It feels like a scam to obtain personal information in an effort to commit identity fraud. I've notified all credit agencies of this, in an effort to prevent such fraud. More
