We had a great experience purchasing a new Acura TL at Marin Acura. Of course, they offered some additional options (warranties, etc.), but were not pushy at all when we declined. Working with Edmond Kim in particular was great - he was very knowledgeable about the car and extremely laid-back. Even though there are about five Acura dealerships closer to us, we'd definitely make the drive out to Marin Acura again if we were to purchase another Acura. More

Today I purchased a 2012 Acura MDX from Marin Acura, and I can emphatically testify that this was, from start to finish, the smoothest, most congenial, low stress, and best value automobile purchase I've ever had. Kudos go to Mike, the sales manager, for following up – without undue pressure – my initial inquiries, as we waited for the right model to arrive. And for building my confidence that it was worth driving 90 minutes from home to get to Marin. And, Jean-Pierre, the finance manager also gets top marks for his incredible efficiency, clarity, and outstanding humor. But, my strongest appreciation goes to Patrick Fan, my salesman, for his polite, respectful initial calls to my home, and then especially for his treatment from the moment he greeted me by name at the door upon arrival. He was outstanding in all ways...competent, quick, efficient, an excellent communicator, and gracious. Am I really talking about car dealers?? Pinch me. Marin Acura transformed three decades of auto purchasing experience in one fell swoop. Acura is very fortunate to have Patrick, and Mike, and Jean-Pierre. These guys are incredible. Steven is an easy-going salesman who is quite knowledgeable on the cars he sells, particularly the TSX 6-speed manual, 4-door (they don't make this 6-speed shift anymore). Fortunately for me, I stumbled upon a 2004 one with less than 48k in immaculate condition with a meticulous and clean CarFacts record. Steven made this car easy to purchase. I didn't have my checkbook and he said it was no problem to do the paperwork first and then I could drive my new car home to get it. He took my daughter to find water, crayons and a coloring book. We had fun coloring while Steven completed all the many forms that go into purchasing a car. When I drove home I noticed there were no car mats. When I told him there were none, he said he would order them and have them for me before the end of the week. Two days later he called to say the new mats were in. Once I got to Edward Kim, my experience with Marin Acura was professional, speedy, and positive. I purchased a used car from Edward but the past owner hadn't turned in the spare key. He promised to acquire it asap and if not, to pay for the replacement. After a month of him trying while I was doubting I would ever see it, he followed through with his promise and paid for a replacement. ($150) I appreciate the attitude, tone, and sincerity after the sale when it was not required and that deserves recognition. I would buy from him again. -Rob More

He could answer any question correctly and thoroughly, instantly. We wanted some specific options on the car as well as a desired color and interior combination. Steve was able to tell us within minutes if what we wanted was even available. We were never pressured and no attempt was made to intimidate or bully us. We arrived at a fair price rather quickly. We went in on a Monday afternoon and by Wednesday afternoon, were driving the car we wanted. Steve explained every detail of the functions of the car to be sure we were comfortable before driving away. Above and beyond…our old car was destroyed in an accident, so we had none but still had plenty of places to be while the new car was transferred and options installed. Marin Acura gave us a new car to drive for two days – yes, the tank was full when we got it. Thanks Steve. More

Didn't think they would have time to take care of the problem, just thought they'd tell me what the heck it meant ! But to my surprise, the really nice Service guy, Marvin, told me he could take care of it right then and there ! He went out of his way to make sure I was happy and printed up the actual recall latter sent to the dealership about what they were going to do in detail. Hey he even put on my new license plates that came in the mail, and I didn't even buy my car there ( they didn't have the right ZDX n stock ) . I'm very proud to have the Marin Acura plate frames on my car ! Great people, very helpful. I left very happy and didn't even mind the wait for an hour. The facilities are all so nice that I didn't even mind being there. Its obvious the dealership values their customer's time and they go above and beyond in making the place comfortable and even cozy !!! More

I traded in my second Acura MDX bought from Marin Acura to get a new one. The people there from top to bottom, including service dept. bend over backward to be helpful. When we got the car, Edmond set up everything for us...computer, lights, locks...a long list of options to get the car just the way you want it. This is a great place to buy a car! More
