Let me start off by saying, I’m not one to write online reviews, however, after reading all the reviews and my experience with Perry and Marietta Toyota, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to express my co reviews, however, after reading all the reviews and my experience with Perry and Marietta Toyota, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to express my complete satisfaction and pleasure with this purchasing experience. Being that I am “darker skinned, have kids, and purchased a van” I felt that I owed it to all those that read online reviews to describe my experience. I have dealt with racism all my life and I can assure you that Perry Kinney did not display any racism towards me or my kids. Had he, this dealership would have been the last place I purchased a car from. I have spent hours online researching the EXACT Sienna I wanted to purchase and was finally at the point that it was time to hit the road and head to the dealerships. With my husband out of town and 3 of my kids in tow (5,7&9 year-old), I was dreading the day. The hassle of dealing with a “car salesman” and the dealership mindset of pressuring you into buying a car was not how I wanted to spend my day. Although I felt very prepared, this was not going to be my idea of a family fun experience. I started off at World Toyota. Where they seemed to fit the exact mold of what I despise, just wanting to make a sale, regardless of my specifications, and move the inventory off their sales lot. I then went on to 2 other dealerships where it seemed to be the same sales mentality. Sienna's were similar to what I wanted but not exactly what I wanted. Losing hope on every finding my Sienna I then went to Marietta Toyota. Upon entering Marietta Toyota I was greeted by Perry. While I was obviously stressed, irritated, and not enjoying the day out car shopping with my 3 little darlings, Perry was nothing but polite, welcoming, and professional. He immediately sat down with me and made notes to exactly what it was I was looking for. With 3 kids in the office, you can imagine how many interruptions we had to our conversation. Perry was nothing but patient and accommodating to my children. He offered them drinks and cracker snacks, then showed the kids the “playroom”. I instantly fell in love with Marietta Toyota’s purchasing experience. Not only was the salesman representing Marietta Toyota knowledgeable, polite, and had a true sense of sincerity but the playroom was a huge stress reliever. Perry immediately went to work to find my Sienna. Not a Sienna “like” what I wanted, but the Sienna I wanted. He located the vehicle at a dealership in a nearby state. Once we agreed upon a price he arranged for the Sienna to be brought to Marietta Toyota. A few days later I went back to Marietta Toyota with kids in tow to bring home my Sienna. Perry was so thorough in showing me how everything worked. He helped me get everyone situated in the van and immediately showed me how to operate the entertainment system (for my kids enjoyment). Perry had me feeling like I was his only customer. Every question I had was answered, every aspect of the van was explained, and I was ready to drive home. I never felt rushed, pressured, or as if me and my kids were a bother to him. I have recommended him to a number of my friends. My only complaint is that I didn’t go to Marietta Toyota first! Initially did my research online before going to Marietta Toyota. Other dealerships did not have the exact vehicle that we wanted on their lot, but Marietta Toyota did. Once I called, I was assigned to Eri Toyota. Other dealerships did not have the exact vehicle that we wanted on their lot, but Marietta Toyota did. Once I called, I was assigned to Eric, and he took care of us through the entire process. I explained to him that we knew the vehicle we wanted and what we wanted to pay. He initially offered us a good & fair price on the vehicle, but me being the harda** that I am, I wanted to see how much they wanted my business and I pressured them to meeting me at my price, & they did. I purposely was a tough customer, & now I am a loyal one. They put up with me, and put my needs and wants first, and I sincerely appreciate that. Won't be in the market for a new vehicle for a while, but will definitely recommend this dealership & Eric to others. More
Before i went to Marietta Toyota, I went with few other dealers to buy a new car. But Marietta Toyota gave me the best deal for a new Corolla than any one else. Did not play the "Manager" games with the price. They were straight forward in all their dealings. They allowed me to drive the vehicle withoug pressure when I told them I was considering ano price. Except assuming that Perry Kinney did most 5-star reviews here by himself, I had extremely hard time to understand how he could get so many compliments. It was absloutely the worst customer service we had ev here by himself, I had extremely hard time to understand how he could get so many compliments. Our story was almost exactly the same with a previous lady's review, and by comparing our cases, the following assumptions is made: 1. Mr. Kinney possibly doesn't like to sell the minivans. When he receives the inquiries about Sienna, his attitude will change 180 degree. Maybe the profit margin isn't big enough for him to spend his time with us. 2. He probably hates children. When he deals with the families with kids, he loses his professional composure. He becomes very rude, impatient, and offensive. He will quickly express that he wants to end this conversation and moves on to the next customer. 3. He "might" have problem with someone who has darker skin color. From the beginning of our meeting, his answers were short and basically meaningless, and he contantly showed his poker face with unhappy voice. He even abandoned us for 20 minutes in the middle of our meeting to serve another caucasian female. Hum... I wonder whom manufacture Toyota? Isn't that Japanese? Wow, discriminating his own big boss, genius! **By the way, if you are Costco members like me and you thought that you got a good deal, you will be angry to know that I got a better offer with $2,000 less in another Toyota dealership (hint: World XX in Gwinnett). Since Mr. Kinney pushed us out of the door, we requested a few quotes on www.edmunds.com to see if we could get any positive response. This dealership emailed back within 30 minutes and offered a jaw dropping deal with $2K less. Brand new, same model, same year, same options. Trust me, google "Costco Auto program hoax" and you know what I am talking about! $2K can take your family to a nice vacation, please don't give it up to Marietta Toyota! More

Rarely do you come away with a deal better than advertised! Additionally, Jerry was open, honest, and had ready and good answers to all my questions. We concluded our business quickly. Jerry also showed he was a genuinely nice person who would go way out of his way to help out now during the lease.
