We had the worse experience ever. We got a call saying they have what we wanted upon arrival they said it’s in the transit. We sat back for price estimate and came to know there is an additional 5k fee so they have what we wanted upon arrival they said it’s in the transit. We sat back for price estimate and came to know there is an additional 5k fee so called ‘market adjustment’ fee , never heard of before (btw this was on top of all the other charges they could possibly add). The MSRp of xse which we were looking for was around 45k, okay I understand you can make a max of 6k to 10k profit out of one car but 16k is that fair ? All together they asked us to pay almost 60k for Highlander 2022 SXE . We were surprised and thought why not to go with Lexus. Honestly we were very disappointed and worse of all, their manager with a very rude attitude came to have a conversation with us and started of so rude and we stopped the conversation without wasting a sec and left that place. Sorry we are not here to buy your attitude. Never going there next time and would never suggest any one. Taking advantage of others in worse situations is ethically wrong. More
Sales Managers and their General Manager showed no respect to the customer needs, they were abusive and insulting to some degree. They are bunch of dishonest people and renege on their agreements. respect to the customer needs, they were abusive and insulting to some degree. I would give zero stars if I could. We had an offer via consumer reports car buying service then confirmed by a certificate from their internet sales rep. They initially refused to honor saying it was for consumer reports car buying service then confirmed by a certificate from their internet sales rep. They initially refused to honor saying it was for a different car (it wasn’t) or a different VIN (it wasn’t). And then gave us a sob story about it being a “family owned” dealership. Refused to honor the trade in value and played so many games with the price I was insulted. Wasted hours of my time and my money. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. More
There are few things I hate more than having my engine oil over filled and my other fluid levels over filled but that happened today. My engine oil was over filled by about 4 to 8 oz. On a hybrid that i oil over filled and my other fluid levels over filled but that happened today. My engine oil was over filled by about 4 to 8 oz. On a hybrid that is not a good thing. I am going to try to remove some out of the dipstick by putting the stick in several times and pulling it out when the engine is cold to, hopefully, get more oil to stick on the stick. The radiator fluid reservoir was also over filled but I can suck the extra out in the morning. OVERFILLING can cause UNDO WEAR on the vehicle. I MADE IT A POINT to tell them not to over fill the engine and they did it anyway. Also, my windshield wiper fluid was yellow. I use RainX fluid which is orange but blue and orange shouldn't make yellow. It's possible. I decided to run my wipers quite a bit while it rained to drain the reservoir which I will fill with RainX. They get 2 out of 5 instead of 1 out of 5 because they were polite ESPECIALLY the person taking the appointment. She was great AND I got out of there in a timely fashion so they deserve credit for that but it doesn't make up for doing the maintenance INCORRECTLY!!!! BTW, apparently Marietta has figured out a way to BLOCK this review from Google so that leaves me posting it here and DROPPING it a star because of it. More
This is the worst dealer I ever deal with. Individual named Ashley lied about availability of a minivan to made me drive 3 hours from other city to see the minivan that was not available. When I arrived named Ashley lied about availability of a minivan to made me drive 3 hours from other city to see the minivan that was not available. When I arrived at the dealership individual name Victor Martino came out. He was the rudest salesman I ever met. Please watch out these two individuals they are not honest. More
Reached out to Marietta Toyota for a vehicle after issues with local dealership in Macon. Marietta Toyota offered a substantial better price so we opted to drive the distance for it. 2.5 hours with traffic. with local dealership in Macon. Marietta Toyota offered a substantial better price so we opted to drive the distance for it. 2.5 hours with traffic. Prior to coming we confirmed the vehicle was available, made an appointment a couple hours out and did the check app. Offered to put down a substantial deposit on the vehicle to keep it from being sold from under us but was assured that wouldn't from Tom as one of the Managers, Sean, was currently driving the vehicle. 2.5 hrs later when we arrived the front desk informed us, indeed they sold the vehicle from under us. Not a business ID trust in the future. If you're shopping price and willing to drive you can likely find a better and more trustworthy option. More
Want a lease? They'll try to sell you a car. Discuss terms? They'll switch up on you. Ask to leave and they won't give you your keys back from your potential trade in. Absolute worse experience. Marietta Toyota is the old school of sales with the lying and bait and switch. I had a confirmed price with a sales person over the internet but when I came in to purchase the car, they switched sales person and bait and switch. I had a confirmed price with a sales person over the internet but when I came in to purchase the car, they switched sales persons and wouldn't honor the price. They try to sale you a practically worthless add on package of window tint, nitrogen aired tires and floor mats for $1500. Who would pay for that? (the air is already 78% nitrogen and I'm not a race car driver). I went to another dealer in Cobb and got a better deal with more features that actual add resale value to my car like push button start. More
After my former 19-year old SUV died three years ago, I met Jimmie Wilson in the Sales Dept. at Marietta Toyota. I was excited at the prospect of looking at new Toyota SUVs since I had previously owned and met Jimmie Wilson in the Sales Dept. at Marietta Toyota. I was excited at the prospect of looking at new Toyota SUVs since I had previously owned and loved two Toyotas in my lifetime (including my very first car!). I had a very good rapport with Jimmie from the start. He is not your 'average car salesman'. Jimmie has been committed to car sales for a very long time (let's just call him the 'senior statesman' of the dealership) and is the epitome of a true salesperson. He listened to what I needed (and let me do most of the talking -- another aspect of good salesmanship) and knows EVERYTHING about his product. As a former salesperson, I appreciate the consultative way he goes about the sales process. His follow-up is incredible and is 'pleasantly persistent' without being pushy or high-pressure. Jimmie is very responsive to questions (especially after you drive off the lot) and even calls me on my birthday each year. Now, THAT's someone who wants to earn your business for a lifetime! I was thrilled to drive off the lot in March 2018 with a 2018 Highlander XLE and just four weeks ago, I returned to lease a brand-new 2021 Highlander XLE (I've named her 'Pearl'). I have been impressed with everyone at the dealership -- from Guest Services who welcomes you at the front door -- and offers you a beverage -- to the finance folks and the service & parts department. It's not the most convenient Toyota dealer from where I live, but it is the one I definitely prefer. Bottom-line: If you want to buy a car, there's a dealer on every corner here in the Atlanta area. If you want to ensure you have the right investment for you and your family, and have a lifelong relationship with experts who care about your customer experience, buyer satisfaction, safety, and long-term needs -- ask for Jimmie Wilson and the experts at Marietta Toyota. Terrible service makes the USED CAR dealer the moniker stick. Went to use Kelly Blue Book to sell a car. KBB suggested an amount that seemed reasonable. Marietta Toyota called to to purchase the car. stick. Went to use Kelly Blue Book to sell a car. KBB suggested an amount that seemed reasonable. Marietta Toyota called to to purchase the car. I drove over and the Salesrep looked my car over and quoted me a number higher than what I received by KBB. As with auto dealers he th had to go to he manager. After he look over the car he cam back with an offer $2,000 less that what the Salesrep had come up with. The reason I was give. Was the tires needed to. E replaced. Does anyway know where you can by tires o $2,000 at wholesale? I may My recommendation is do not waste our time going there they will keep you waiting and then. More
