Marietta Auto Sales responded

We do not quote interest rates over the phone. We encourage all customers to come into the dealership to discuss numbers. In reference to the GAP contract which was cancelled per the customer request we explained that the cancellation process takes 4-6 weeks for processing. Once GAP was cancelled the funds were received from the GAP company, which once those funds were received we sent directly to the lienholder. We have been in direct contact with the lienholder and the customer which we haven't been guilty of any unethical practices.

I never said anything about being quoted rates over the phone and it's been 3 MONTHS (12 weeks) since the GAP was cancelled. I was misled by being told that my lien holder "required" me to carry GAP insurance then told that there were fees that the dealer could not legally pass on to me and that's why I was sold the GAP insurance so that those fees could be covered. Is that unethical? Yep! Now I have emails where I was given contradicting information so it's in writing that your representative was being misleading and unethical. I would gladly provide that information to you if you'd like. I was also in direct contact with my lien holder's President's office as well as the GAP insurance company (whom I have emails from as well). Bottom line...I purchased a great car for a great price but the service was very poor. I would not refer anyone to your dealership and I would not purchase another car from Marietta Auto Sales.

Marietta Auto Sales responded

Customer did not disclose before travelling from South Carolina 4WD or any of the other 22 codes that were on her trade in. Customer said it happened on the way down. (witnessed by salesman and GM/appraiser) She was given a sight unseen estimate. We connected it to the computer upon arrival before we negotiated the deal here at the dealership. I (GM)suggested that I did not want to take the trade in and she asked the most I would give in that condition and I did and she accepted the value. Brakes on this car have a sensor and the sensor was not on at time of purchase, but giving the benefit of the doubt, we paid for them. (over $900...when our cost would be $450-500 here) We addressed the issues with the customer and offered to make the repairs here at the shop and she insisted she did not have the time to come back. She suggested her local repair shop and we paid them directly. Once they realized we were a dealer and paying for it, they added other things as if it were an open check book and gouged prices higher than the Audi dealer. The Audi was explained to be "Nav Ready" and not advertised with navigation and explained to both husband and wife in the contracting process by GM as well before any signing with that understanding (video/audio recorded). All of the messages were recorded and time stamped ( with customer at first contact along with FB messages, GM personal cell records and service manager and her local service center) Customer threatened via FB message to give bad reviews if we didn't do it her way. We operate a fair business and out of over 120 sales for the month we have 2 complaints of any sort is the example and we went above and beyond to accommodate at customers demand. We respond to each review and situation swiftly and professionally.
