BUYER BEWARE! Take the time to read this review! I purchased a 2010 Range Rover in August 2017. My sales rep was Anthony Brooks. Less than 24 hours after purchase, my vehicle showed a bad battery. I purchased a 2010 Range Rover in August 2017. My sales rep was Anthony Brooks. Less than 24 hours after purchase, my vehicle showed a bad battery. Since they start the vehicles and bring them into the show room for your test drive, I didn't notice a battery issue until the car sat overnight. A few days later, it was showing regular gearbox faults. I had the car inspected by 4 mechanics, including a Land Rover dealership, a transmission specialist, and an independent Land Rover mechanic. They all confirmed it was a transmission issue with estimates for repair from $5000 to $6600. I took the vehicle back to Marietta Auto Sales where one of their technicians said it just needed "reprogramming" after the new battery. I was told all the other mechanics just wanted my money. Whatever "reprogramming" they did masked the gearbox faults for another week or so (and this is likely what they did before I purchased the vehicle). I had the transmission repaired (costing over $5k) and tried to discuss matters with Marietta Auto Sales. I emailed and got a response from Patrick OBrien. I emailed him back within 24 hours and got no response for a week. When I showed up in person to speak to a manager, I was informed Patrick no longer worked there (apparently his employment ended within the 24 hours I responded via email). I sat down and spoke with sales manager, Sedrick Mosley, and provided all the documentation showing how their "extensive inspection process" missed a bad battery and transmission issues and how their technician had simply "reprogrammed" my vehicle (ignoring all other mechanics) when I had allowed them a chance to resolve the issue. Sedrick admitted they missed the issues with my vehicle and said he would look into it. I requested reimbursement for the cost of parts to repair my vehicle (about $3500) which I thought was fair considering I had it repaired elsewhere. Sedrick basically ignored me and gave me the run around when I contacted him further. He blamed his superiors and "management changes" but when I asked for their contact info, all I got was the name of the general manager- Mike DeJesus. I submitted a claim to BBB and only in their response did I get contact info for the general manager, Mike DeJesus. I emailed Mike DeJesus and got no response at all. I responded to several of the negative facebook reviews with my similar experience and they blocked me from being able to leave a review myself on their facebook page. I do believe they are guilty of deliberate deception in masking the transmission issues present with the vehicle I purchased. They proved they could mask these issues when they "reprogrammed" it- ignoring documentation of transmission issues from certified Land Rovers mechanics. Their response is that I did not purchase an extended warranty and bought the vehicle "as-is" even though they admitted their "extensive inspection process" obviously missed a bad battery and the transmission issues present. If they really inspect these vehicles and simply missed these issues, they should have been willing to resolve the problems. Their unwillingness to resolve problems demonstrates they knew about the problems and actively covered up the issues. I was never offered an extended warranty although Dwight, my finance rep, tried to hard sell me on "tire and glass protection" and gap insurance- he barely took NO for an answer and had me initial several pages declining these extra services (which apparently included an extended warranty they never offered). He offered to lower my interest rate if I took those extra services (tire and glass protection and gap insurance) so he had the ability to lower my rate but wouldn't unless I bought extras from them (a very manipulative and unethical tactic in my opinion). Lessons learned from this experience: 1. Don't trust they inspect anything and be aware their technicians can adjust the programming on many newer vehicles. They actively cover up known problems. 2. While having the cars brought into the showroom (already cooled down or warmed up depending on weather) seems great at first, you can miss problems at startup. Demand to go to the car on the lot and see it start up- preferably first thing when they open and don't give them a head's up that you're coming or which vehicle you're interested in. 3. All of the vehicles I test drove had no gas- sitting very much on empty. I also noticed this from online photos of other vehicles I looked at and it's mentioned in other reviews. This is a common tactic- to limit test drives and limit your chance to find problems. Make them put some gas in the vehicle and take it for a longer test drive- preferably to be inspected by an independent mechanic. 4. My vehicle had the date/time reset and while I didn't think anything of it at first, any battery issue or reprogramming resets the date and time. In fact, when I returned and they "reprogrammed" something to "fix" my transmission issues, the date and time were reset again. 5. I noticed most vehicles were priced ending in either 999 or 444. The vehicles ending in 444 seemed to be better deals (I test drove at least 3 with that pricing) but my vehicle had been stripped of accessories (no manual, no DVD remote, no floor mats, no spare key) and this was the reasoning for the better price. I would be suspect of any of the discounted vehicles and watch out for major issues they may be hiding. They conveniently found the floor mats for my vehicle when I wouldn't stop questioning why they were missing. When I checked their website recently, the pricing appears to have changed to 997 and 597 (or lower) for the most part. There is likely a meaning behind their pricing. Look for the patterns. 6. If they don't offer an extended warranty, there is likely good reason. Beware! 7, Get your own financing through your bank so you don't have to deal with their manipulative tactics about your interest rate. I purchased on a Saturday and didn't wish to wait until my bank reopened. Although I had financing with my bank, the rate I finally got through them was similar... but I am disappointed they could have gotten me a lower rate but refused because I didn't purchase their "extras". They either receive something from the finance company or just don't give you a better rate if you don't buy extras from them. They do not have the customer's best interest in mind. In fact, the initial rate I was "approved" for was something like 8% which they immediately dropped to less than 5% when I told them I both knew my credit score and already had better financing through my bank. 8. I don't know how much the sales reps know about what goes on here. I really liked my rep, Anthony, and I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. It's hard to believe he didn't notice the bad battery or that the sales reps are truly unaware of practices here, but ultimately, the responsibility of what happens falls on management. 9.. I've read several reviews where a "change in management" was blamed for poor communication and problems brought forward by customers. I heard these same excuses several times. They apparently change management often or just rely on that excuse. 10. Realize that although they may deal in more high-end vehicles, they are simply just another shady used car lot. Learn from my experience if you must deal with them. I truly regret ever stepping onto their lot. I would encourage you to just shop elsewhere. 11. I purchased my vehicle 5 months ago and had problems starting less than 24 hours after purchase. I have tried to resolve issues with them directly and do not leave a negative review hastily or lightly. I have all communication and issues very well documented and I gave them both the benefit of the doubt and a fair chance to resolve the issues present (they deserved neither). They cannot say this review is unjustified. More

I had been to a few other dealerships and no one was accommodating to the way I was hoping to buy a vehicle. Chauncey ask the right questions was very accommodating and we made a great deal. I got the car I wanted and I was in a super hurry I was in my work vehicle which is a service truck that I was trading in Chauncey help me clear it out and put all my tools and equipment into the new truck that I was buying. Toby was honest and straightforward it's been a long time since I felt like it was an honest buying experience. The only thing I would say to look out for inspect your vehicle properly and slowly I bought mine and it was almost dark and it has scratches all over it also they spray paint some of the Interior Plastics to make them look new which will flake off quickly. The car selling game is very cut-throat and to make your cars look the best sometimes you have to be a little less transparent. Knowing this and being educated will help you buy a good quality car and a good quality price. More
