I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer & had an oil & filter change. Their incompetence nearly caused my engine to blow. About 2 weeks after being serviced, my oil light came on while driving & my engi & filter change. Their incompetence nearly caused my engine to blow. About 2 weeks after being serviced, my oil light came on while driving & my engine started idling roughly. I pulled over & saw oil dripping from the undercarriage & a sizable puddle on the road under my vehicle. I had lost 4 quarts of oil. Next morning, I had an emergency repair at another shop closer to me & was told that whoever changed my oil last, had cracked the oil filter housing & it had been slowly leaking since then, until it finally failed completely. The repair cost me $400. I tried several times to reach the General Mgr. to file a complaint & request reimbursement, but everyone I spoke to, from the online chat person to whoever would answer the phone, refused to give me a name or any contact info. I even tried the "Talk to the General Manager" link on their webpage where it says, "Whether you're having an issue or want to pay us a compliment there's nothing more important to us than feedback from our guests", which is a lie since I never heard from the General Mgr. A few days later, the Service Director called & said he couldn't reimburse me even though I had pictures & a statement from the other shop. I then filed a complaint with the BBB. The Service Director responded & said the only solution he could offer was for me to come in & talk about it. I replied that I was unable to because my elderly mother is disabled and I am her caregiver and it would cause me undue hardship to drive 30 miles with no guarantees. Also, I had recently been hurt in a bad car accident and was physically unable to drive until my injuries healed & there was nothing to talk about that hadn't already been said in our phone call & through the BBB. He again gave me the same response & the case was closed by the BBB. It's painfully obvious that customer service, customer retention or accountability for their actions aren't part of their business practices. If you didn’t know, there’s a new shop for Ram trucks in the back of the service department. I had very bad experience with the front service department, they had not fixed my truck since day one. I had taken my truck for repairs about 7-8 times and the truck would stay at the shop for more than a week every time. Just bad customer service from the front service department- when I tell you bad service I mean it. Supposedly they had fixed my truck but was never properly fixed. Well when I took my truck to Alexander he sent me back to work on a Uber. And also sent me an uber to go pick up the truck next morning. It took him and his crew one day to fix the truck issues. Even fixed the recall Ram had on their trucks. The front service took months and months and was not fixed. He did it in one day.. he’s very kind and very knowledgeable. I’m not sure if he services other than Ram but if you had problems with the front service ask to bring your to him. Maybe they service other brands. It was about time they had some real mechanics.. Went to the dealership to buy a new Grand Cherokee. Agreed on a price with the manager. Shortly thereafter the manager tried to renegotiate our deal claiming they were losing too much money.
