When I went to pick it up the paperwork said they ran it through the car wash. But when I looked at the car, the window was really dusty on the outside, had fingerprints and smudges all over. I expected that the window would look brand new (because it was) but it looked like it had been in a warehouse for a year. I was a little disappointed. I ended up going to the gas station and washing it my self. And then when I picked up my key, the cashier lady was a bit grumpy. Everything got fixed, price was right, but the attention to detail was lacking. More

The friendly service man apologized and told me this was a very "busy time of year". I owned a 2008 Toyota and swore I would not buy another Toyota only because of the service department. Well, I guess I forgot about the promise I made myself because I did buy another one in 2014. The sales staff promised me the service center had been improved- with a "express" service option, appointment scheduling available, etc. Nothing has improved and wait times are worse than ever. More

The service rep said that he would be able to get started on my car that night. He was also able to get the detail on my car done sooner than any appointments available. The process to get a rental for the day was very quick. When I returned to pick up my car, checking in my rental was quick and easy. The ladies and the customer service desk were excellent! Previous experiences were completely the opposite. I enjoyed working with the customer service ladies this time. The only complaint that I have is that my windows were not very clean. There are still streaks that are cloudy and there is something hard and crusty stuck on my drivers side window that I cannot get off. Otherwise this experience was great! More

They claimed the threads merely came out when the unscrewed it. The threads can only break off when overstressed by over tighten ing. After arguing with the serice mgr. he agreed to retap the oil pan for a larger thread and plug. After returning hom I noticed a slow oil leak (about a qt. in a week) from the plug. Now they refused to have it repaired. More
Tom Westcott sold me a Venza in 2009. It has been a good relationship with Toyota and Tom. Last year while in a parking lot an unknown person sideswiped my vehicle. I decided who I wanted to repair it and Tom arranged to follow me there and see that I got home. The same routine when it was time to pick up the repaired car. I would estimate that to be a little over 100 miles plus his time and his own car to see that I was well taken care of. A son was so impressed with my dealings with Toyota that he purchased a car through Mr. Westcott. He, Tom, and Toyota take good care of their customers. More

My last visit to Maplewood Toyota for service work was another professional, courteous, timely experience. We have three Toyotas and all were purchased and are serviced at Maplewood Toyota. I appreciate another professional, courteous, timely experience. We have three Toyotas and all were purchased and are serviced at Maplewood Toyota. I appreciate the time the service advisor (recent visit Bill Dalgaard) takes to explain what is going to be done and answer any questions. The work is always done well and within the time frame promised. I have complete confidence in this service department. I recommend Maplewood Toyota to everyone looking to buy a car or needing service. Larry Rutkowski More
after rear-end damage repaired at the toyota recommended next door body shop- arranged for maplewood toyota to check for possible brake and/or electrical system damage as well as oil change and window adjus next door body shop- arranged for maplewood toyota to check for possible brake and/or electrical system damage as well as oil change and window adjustment for my camery hybrid. was told 12v battery needed to be replaced for exorbitant price of $366 plus $60 for labor. after car was done with service I took $70 taxi to get my car and get to several scheduled appts. shortly after leaving lot my service engine light came on then codes on my car computer started flashing that hybrid computer was shutting down in traffic. car shut down dealer service told me to try and get it back to shop. restarted car and limped back to shop at 15mph. was assured car would be examined immediately. 45-60 min later asked service how long and what was wrong, they could not contact service tech and when finally did I was told it could be an hour or more and no answer to what was wrong. 1 hour later car was fixed and on repair invoice #833082 said "tech found fuel trim data cleared when battery replaced. cleared codes and test drove for relearn" to me this clearly lays the blame on service when battery was replaced. after several contradictory e-mails from Russ Bestler, service manager, who blamed body shop for problem and thought 2hrs to read some codes and reset computer was reasonable. he stated that repairs to brakes and battery did not warrant a test drive so there was no way they should have been aware of problem. they did do a test drive after this incident and left car covered in road salt residue. service manager said that body shop told him not to wash it for 30 days due to new paint. body shop completely denies this and says can be washed immediately. Due to the inaccuracies of fact from Mr Bestler I have doubts about battery failure and labor charges and hold his service dept at fault for the subsequent problems. More
