unexpected service I had to call for unexpected service. I had just had an oil change a few weeks ago and found a leak under the vehicle and it was making a high pitch I had to call for unexpected service. I had to call 3 times before someone answered in the service dept. but it was Monday morning and they were extremely busy. I brought the vehicle in, and they put it up on the lift immediately to assess. The initial assessment was that there was an oil leak, the shuttle was not going to be available for 30 minutes or more, so they got someone else to drive the 2nd shuttle and I was able to get to work. Since the part was not available in the shop and did not make the truck for Tuesday delivery, I was offered a loaner car, which I didn't need, but it was nice it was offered. I have always been satisfied with the service here, and this time was no exception. More

Service advisor made useful recommendations and answered my questions. By the time I had two fresh cookies and a couple cups of coffee my car was ready. I was told what they found and was assured the car was good for many more miles. Every interaction was with a courteous and friendly employee. Not a bad place to relax for an hour. More

However, when I received my bill, the price was not what he had quoted me. The person giving me the bill nicely said she would make the adjustment and did change the cost to what I was quoted. I appreciate the cost savings but wonder why the best price cannot be automatically provided to loyal service customers. I know that you have the service record for my car on your computer and know that I do all of my service there, so why not just give me the best price, in appreciation for my business, and then tell me that, not wait for me to provide a coupon and then tell me you can do better with another coupon that I don't have access to and then forget to put it on the receipt. More

Adjustment of the brakes on my 2005 Camry I purchased my new Camry at Maplewood Toyota in 2005, it has 125,500 miles on it. During the last 3 years you replaced both my front and rear brakes I purchased my new Camry at Maplewood Toyota in 2005, it has 125,500 miles on it. During the last 3 years you replaced both my front and rear brakes due to normal wear. I complained in April and also during this visit that the brakes feel soft and I did not feel the car stopped right. I met with your service manager Russ and shared these concerns with him and also that I believed I had a sudden acceleration scare when I drove the car into my garage last Saturday. Russ patiently listened to my concerns and said that this was probably an operator error problem where I must have had my foot on the brake but also the accelerator. Nathan was able to immediately schedule service on the car while I waited. The mechanics did a thorough review of the brakes, made some adjustments and they had 3 different mechanics test drive the car. Apparently, a soft brake pedal is a characteristic of the Camry unlike most other cars. I was VERY pleased with how Russ, Nathan and their service team handled my situation. Thanks, Paul More
