Unexpected Service Made Easy We brought our 2010 Prius in for routine maintenance when diagnostics indicated a rear brake needed replacement. This meant an unexpected 4-5 hours wo We brought our 2010 Prius in for routine maintenance when diagnostics indicated a rear brake needed replacement. This meant an unexpected 4-5 hours work/wait. The folks at Maplewood Toyota were very accommodating. The unexpected wait was made short by an offer of van service to our home. We elected instead to go to nearby Maplewood Mall to get some shopping done. After a few hours of shopping, we got a call from Maplewood Toyota to say that the brake work was finished. The van took us back to the dealership. There was a little glitch with the invoice. The service rep at the desk told us there was N/C. That was quickly straightened out because although there was no charge for maintenance, the brake work was an expense. We used a Dealership coupon when we paid to save a little money. We were on our way home an hour earlier than expected. Thanks to everyone at Maplewood who made our eventful visit go as smoothly as possible. Especially happy that they had the resources to quickly identify and fix our brake issue. More

Since 2009 when I first purchased my Corolla there, I honestly have nothing but wonderful things to say about the wonderful staff at Maplewood Toyota. Since 2009 when I first purchased my Corolla there, I have consistently received exceptional customer service that I feel I can trust. The staff there are incredibly kind and professional, and extremely good at communicating with customers, both in terms of explaining service needs in easy to understand terms (I have overheard more than one conversation in their lobby where service representatives break down mechanical issues to adorable old ladies incredibly well) and just in general terms as far as keeping you updated about realistic wait times, etc. I also appreciate that they always allow the customer to be the deciding factor as to if or when they would like the service provided. Not once have I had unnecessary service recommended to me (nor pushed on me, like you will find at many other shops... no, I do NOT need a new cabin air filter, tyvm). Great customer service and great service in general has kept me coming to Maplewood Toyota for all my service needs despite the fact that I moved from Maplewood to South Minneapolis seven years ago. Yes, they are worth the drive. More
