Then the next day we went in and met Rory Shaffer who didn't pressure us to look at a bunch of cars "he" wanted to sell us. He stuck to our list and what we were looking for, and after a few test drives and questions about the cars we found the one that fit us. Overall it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. I felt very welcome by Richard when I met with him. He ask me for what I was looking for and did everything he could to find what I needed. I initially went to Maplewood Toyota because it's close to home and I was interested in a Prius. On my initial visit, I met one of the salesmen, Adam Mitcheltree, and we took a Prius II for a test drive. A to home and I was interested in a Prius. On the second visit, I brought along my wife and son and we tested a Prius IV with Adam. He again answered all of our questions. I appreciated Adam's friendly and honest approach. I'm also turned off by high-pressure, stereotypical car dealer techniques and Adam doesn't use any of these. He was thorough, patient, and extremely helpful. On my third trip I purchased a Prius III from Adam. In a competitive car market, I had sought quotes from local and regional dealers for a Prius II and III. As Adam had told me, some of the other dealers stated they had a lower price but it included the cash back option which I was not interested in. A couple promised to beat any price. Adam's price turned out to be one of the best and his customer service was better than all of the rest. I've been driving the Prius for about 2 weeks now and only made one visit to the gas station since leaving the dealership. It's a great car. I also feel I got a great deal and had an excellent car buying experience with Adam. I've told several friends about the low prices, 0% financing, 2 years free service available on Toyota vehicles which have been the consistently one of the highest quality vehicles in the maretplace.
