After having researched all 6 twin cities Toyota dealer's inventory and prices, I had locked down what I wanted in a Venza, color, options, my trade i After having researched all 6 twin cities Toyota dealer's inventory and prices, I had locked down what I wanted in a Venza, color, options, my trade in allowance, and price. I took that to another dealership and after 3 hours of having undergone the same stigma car buying experience rigor of back and forth negotiations, I ended up walking away due to that experience. The next day, although I was scheduled to now buy a Honda that evening, I called Maplewood Toyota and was connected to RJ. Wow, how fortunate I found myself to be working with RJ! He gave me his undivided attention and was extremely knowledgeable and adjusted to my expectations. I was in and out with my new Venza within the hour, as promised! I hope Maplewood Toyota realizes what an asset RJ Feist is to their business since he has now acquired a new loyal customer. Appreciate RJ's 'above and beyond' service! First new vehicle in many years, and as an engineer, I get pretty fussy about the details ;-) Visited several dealers, RJ was the most knowledgable First new vehicle in many years, and as an engineer, I get pretty fussy about the details ;-) Visited several dealers, RJ was the most knowledgable and least pushy of any of the sales people we worked with in the area. We already had the Highlander at the top of the list, but RJ's info and answers made the sale. He understood my concerns and desires, suggested add-ons I DID want, and steered me away from things that after thinking about them, truly WOULDN'T have wanted. LOTS of emails back and forth..... poor guy! I kept adding things or having questions about the details after we had already ordered it.... To top it off, my wife had to be out of town the week the vehicle was delivered, RJ arranged for her to 'pre-sign' documents and have everything in order so I could pick up the car myself, and still have both our names on the title. All in all, I am very happy with my experience at Maplewood Toyota and RJ has been the front man for them.
