Don't trust this service department We took our 2010 Fusion in to Maplecrest to have a new key made. We inadvertently failed to check the "I authorize the work." So they didn't do it. We took our 2010 Fusion in to Maplecrest to have a new key made. We inadvertently failed to check the "I authorize the work." So they didn't do it. Nor call us to ask if we wanted the work done (despite the fact we had made the appointment for this very purpose). Had we not called the next day (near closing) to ask if it is ready they would have never done the work. But it gets worse: Without our asking the did an inspection and reported a number of things including the "fact" that our coolant was empty and we needed a coolant flush ($299) and that our break linings we're getting thin. When I got the car home I found that the coolant levels were just fine. I did some research and learned that a coolant flush is mostly a bogus service. Worse, I took the car to my independent repair facility who check the break linings and reported that they were "nearly new." Do not patronize these crooks. More

Ed Bennett, preowned sales mgr,, joined the conversation after our test drive. We agreed on a price, discussed 3 repairs needed on the vehicle. In addition to the front brakes being replaced as per the listing, Bennett assured us the full 100 something point safety inspection was done on the vehicle. Regarding the 3 repairs, Bennett said "give us a day". The vehicle, after not hearing from Maplecrest and making several follow up calls, was ready Saturday. So on Monday we had an in depth look at the vehicle. Close up and personal. My husband teaches automotive service at a vocational high school. Pulled all 4 wheels off and found the rear brake pads were worn to 3 mm. The front right tire had 5.75 ounces of weight on it. Why? It was unbalanceable. Upon taking it apart they found the strap that holds the tire pressure monitor on the rim was broken. The students in my husband's class got to see first hand a hack job by a dealership. Today we took it in for repair of the deficiencies. So far: 3 hrs last Monday to negotiate deal; last week - an hour calling on status of vehicle; 2 hrs waiting on Saturday, pick up day, to sign sales documents; and today 3 hrs today on repair of hack job. Very highly disappointed. Will keep you posted on how it goes from here. More
Fantastic First Time Car Dealership Experience. Yesterday my husband, my 4 month old, and I spent the day with Charlie Betzel, as we leased our first car. We drove away with a 2015 Ford Escape and the feeling that we went to the right person at the right place for our first car dealership experience. Charlie was so friendly, accommodating, and resourceful and spent the time to make sure we were getting what we needed in a car. We will absolutely be recommending him and Maplecrest to our friends and family for years to come. More

We leased a Titanium Escape last year from Jose and are EXTREMELY pleased, in fact we will likely buy it out. I just leased a Fusion Energi from Matt and love the car. Although if we had to do it over we would get the Titanium with the push start and keyless entry but that is our bad. Awesome cars and great dealership. Nuno in the finance department was very helpful and insightful. We will get our next car from this dealership. I am extremely opinionated and it takes a lot for me to give such a glowing review. Fact is, these cars rock and we had a great experience. I previously leased a certain Japanese manufactured car and I can say that hands down these American cars are not only better in quality but also in features. More

What a wonderful and easy experience we ha Just recently brought two cars from Maplecrest, myself a 2014 Ford Edge, and my husband a 2012 Ford Focus. What a wonderful and easy experience we had at Maplecrest. First we were referred by Jen Miller, she totally led us in the right direction in the sales department. Our salesman, Dan Moran, what a pleasure to deal with, not only was Dan so knowledgeable about each and every car on the maplecrest's lot, we explained our financial situation and he placed us in 2 cars that are financially affordable. Dan, was so comfortable for us to work with. The financing department was wonderful as well. They didnt try to sell us additional things before signing. We highly recommend Maplecrest! More

When I arriv My 2013 Fusion was recalled for defective seat backs. I made an appointment for the repair and some minor warranty issues a week prior. When I arrived at the service department, there was no record of the appointment. i was assured the work would take less than one day. I called in the afternoon, and was told it would be done in 15 minutes. Arrived a half hour later, and the car was on a "road test". Pretty strange, since the repairs were supposed to be the seats, seat belt, and overhead interior handles. When I asked if everything was done i was told they needed the car for two more full days. They (two people talking to me at once) said the recall was for software update (LIE). It was for defective seat backs (and Ford's website confirms this). They would not return my recall letter from Ford, which stated that the recall was eat backs. So after a full day at Maplecrest Ford, NOTHING was done, they lied that software was updated, the recalled seat backs weren't fixed, and the handles weren't touched. I'm looking for a non-lying dealer to do the recall. I filed a complaint with Ford too. Dealers add absolutely no value to your car, which is why I bought from Avis. No haggling, $1,000 less than Kelly Blue Book, no hassles! THAT I recommend. More

LONG BUT PLEASE READ! Let me start by saying i'm an extremely reasonable person and just a normal working person. ALSO THIS POST IS LONG BUT TRUST ME YOU WANT TO READ IT BE Let me start by saying i'm an extremely reasonable person and just a normal working person. ALSO THIS POST IS LONG BUT TRUST ME YOU WANT TO READ IT BEFORE GOING THERE! I had spoken with Jesse (used sales department) regarding a 2003 Lincoln LS with 88k miles on it selling for $5,900. I had asked him how the car ran and how is the condition of the car overall (pictures usually don't show everything). I was told that the car was in very good mechanical condition and that it was in above average exterior. I had then explained to him that I had a car to trade in (ES350 2010, fully loaded,37Kmiles excellent condition). Jesse said no problem and to bring in the car and speak with Matt (another salesman), we'll evaluate your car for trade and also have the Lincoln LS ready for you to look at. I said no problem I'll be there tomorrow at 3:30pm. The next day at 3:25pm (as I'm pulling into their dealership) Matt calls me to see how far away I was. I told him I'm pulling in now. Matt and Jesse both greeted me (both seemed nice) and stated that they are trying to find the Lincoln LS and it should be a few mins to bring it around. 1 hr later and they finally found the car that they should've already had ready for me considering I had an appointment. "OK no biggie, honest mistake" I'm thinking, they are probably busy. The car was beat to xxxx and literally was hit on 3 of the four corners. The interior was ripped in multiple places and severely damaged. When I went to shift the car into reverse it sounded like the shifter cable was going to snap. Obviously I was disappointed and said "NO WAY". Matt stated he had another LS to show me for cheaper price. Needless to say it was way worse of condition. I asked Matt before we go any further on the used car fishing expedition how about we evaluate my car and tell me what you would trade it in for. So Matt went to his manager and he looked all around the car in and out. Then went back to his manager along with 3 other employees to discuss the trade in value. He came back and had written me up an offer with his information and mine on it for $20,000 up to 39k miles. I said that's a little lower then what I wanted but I do except that offer, now I only have to find a car on his lot I like. Since this whole process had taken just over 3 hours. He and I agreed, that I would go home, look online for something I may be interested in and call him back with something. Which by the way I have the document showing the approved offer!!! I had called yesterday had seen a 2005 Aviator listed for $9,885 on their website. I called Matt, he went to take a look at the truck to confirm its TRUE condition, then he called me back stating the truck was in very good condition in and out and that it is nothing like the last two cars I had seen. I told him if they are willing to drop the price to KBB book value of $9,100(I wasn't going to overpay for a truck 10yrs old), I would drive out there immediately and make the sale. He said he will talk with his manager and call me right back. GUESS WHAT NO CALL BACK AT ALL. So I called today around noon and was told Matt wasn't back in until Monday. I asked to speak with Jesse and explained to the conversation me and Matt had the day before. Jesse said he will go speak to his manager and call me right back. GUESS WHAT...yep no call back. SO i called him again 3 hrs later and Jesse had stated word for word "The manager who approved your trade in value wasn't allowed to approve it without the other pricing manager to approve also". So I asked if they are backing out of the approved offer and he states "No but we have to wait for another manager approves the offer before we can do anything and there's no guarantee that it will get approved . Also we don't know when it'll get looked at." I was so pissed I immediately hung up the phone and then called back to speak with the highest manager. I left a voice mail for a Jeff and guess what ...no call back hours later. My next step is to contact everyone I can in the Attorney General office to have them investigated along with filing multiple complaints with New Jersey division of consumer affairs. Then I am going to post on every blog, forum and review site about this ordeal in hopes that no one is ever lied and taken advantage of again by this dealership. WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL AND I HAVE THE PROOF IN HAND. Lets see how they avoid this legal nightmare coming. More
