Mechanics found that a bold was missing from an exhaust manifold heat shield assembly; replaced at no cost. Shuttle service dropped me off and picked me up as advertised. I called about a transmission light-on problem and was able to get me in the same day. He was helpful and friendly and made sure my car needs were taken care of; I even got a loaner car. Despite a five star service from my advisor, I drove away with a broken glove compartment from the recall of airbags service. Hopefully, that too will get addressed on a second trip back. I know this was an oversight and no fault of anyone. It was a busy week and everyone had been working hard. I didn't see the defect until I got home that night. My boyfriend who also got a recall service done for airbags had the same thing happen to his glove compartment. Maybe the technicians could do a final run to make sure everything is in working condition before the vehicle gets returned to the customer.
