Issues not addressed. I’d brought my car in for its first maintenance. Over the phone prior to the appointment, I asked what services would be performed and was told that I I’d brought my car in for its first maintenance. Over the phone prior to the appointment, I asked what services would be performed and was told that I’d have my oil changed and the wheels rotated. I thought it was strange that nothing else was mentioned, as I had worked in an oil change shop in the past and figured that most shops followed a similar format, such as checking and/or having the fluids topped off in addition to having filters checked or replaced. Seems like at this dealer service center, those services require a whole other appointment. I brought my brand new 2018 Honda Accord in to the dealership it was purchased at (Manly Honda Santa Rosa). I waited for them to change JUST the oil, and rotate the wheels. It took over an hour. I suppose that is ok. However a few days later I was cleaning my car and noticed that the wheels had not been rotated. One of the rims had been repaired and had some marks on it (which made it easy to identify) that were not repaired at the time, but noticeable to me on closer inspection after the fact. At the time it bothered me, but I decided to let it go, however it did leave me feeling dissatisfied, especially after I’d left a glowing review for the repair. So, for me to then notice that my wheels had not been rotated and all that had been done was just the oil change left me feeling irritated and distrustful of this dealer/service center. Now, I had to make another appointment, which meant more time on the phone, more time on the road. At least Valet service was offered which did ease some of my annoyance of having to deal with this issue AGAIN. I also was not charged for the tire rotation, which of course is no less than appropriate, for the given circumstance. How this has happened both times I brought my brand new car to Manly Honda Service Center, is beside me. From my experience it appears to be a regular thing. I had another seperate experience where I had to bring my car in for the same issue twice also. That being said, everyone I’ve spoken to either in person, through text/email, or over the phone have been polite and professional. More
